Request: magnetic {ie cast iron/steel} pans (Builth Wells LD2) Saving up for an induction hob: to work, it needs steel or cast iron based pans / frying pan - base has to be MAGNETIC. My old Le Creuset stock pot is; one tiny milk pan is - but everything else is aluminium. Does anyone have any unwanted pans, frying pan? Ideally, not too far from Builth (but am in Presteigne on a Tuesday evening, and Clun / Bishops Castle area on a Monday evening). Fingers crossed!

Request: wooden boards (Builth Wells LD2) Withdrawn I'm looking for solid wooden boards, to replace a woefully saggy white shelf. Pieces of board that I can put together are fine. The shelf is to take the weight of glass storage jars of food. The entire length is 350cm. Ideally it needs to be 30cm deep. Old 1" thick - 2.5cm - board would be ideal. It doesn't matter if it's painted, stained or marked - it just needs to be strong. Should you happen to have such board, please get in touch.

Free: freezer baskets (Builth Wells LD2) Gifted 4 freezer baskets, suitable for a chest freezer. Measurements in cm. 55 x 19, 52 x 23, 55 x 29, 50 x 26 and this one has 'lips' to stack another on. I was very kindly given a chest freezer, but these must have been from a different one, as mine's only 47 wide. Collect from Builth town.

Free: Spanish slate offcuts (Builth Wells LD2) Gifted Nearing the end of the replacement of my roof: it occured to me that the loose bits and offcuts of Spanish slate might be of interest to someone who'd like to make a garden path. It's in a skip - and the skip will be going soon. If you can make use of it, you can take as much as you want - there's quite a bit! Caveats: : you'd need to wear strong gloves, because some of the edges can be sharp: you must bring suitably strong containers to put it in, but not very big ones, because it's HEAVY. It's in Builth town: level drive access.

Free: large white woven plastic sack (Builth Wells LD2) This is too big for me to be able to use - I can make good use of any 'peanut sack' type ones (which have been unfastened by pulling the string) to put kindling in, but this is BIG! It's 69cm x 138cm. Can anyone find a use for it?

Free: 2 shower panels (Builth Wells LD2) Promised My plumber son's taken these out of a revamped bathroom and knows that I hate things going to waste! He thought someone could make some sort of use of them, inside a building. Otherwise they'll be skipped. One is more or less unmarked. The second has holes where a shower was fitted, and a few screw holes. A VERY light marbling - you have to look hard to see it. Can anyone make use of them for anything?

Free: hay (Builth Wells LD2) Gifted possibly about 10 dustbin bags-worth of dry organic hay. The 'no mow' tall grass in my small orchard was strimmed about 3 weeks ago, and is raked up into mini haystacks. It's at the side of my back garden, on the level, in Builth. There's no traffic problems, either. Easily accessible. SUCH a shame not to have it food for some animals! I'd like it gone before it MIGHT rain a little on Saturday / Sunday. Otherwise, eventually, it'll be green-binned.

I have no means of moving them, so you'd need a trailer. If you just want a couple, that's fine. Need them gone!

Free: tiny trees (Builth Wells) Gifted My garden's full of tiny self set trees. Unusually, most are hornbeams (which mature will be 60ft high); there's some holly, oak, bird cherry (and quite a few western red cedar). Most are a couple of inches high. I can't leave them where they've come up, but it's such a shame to tear out a small forest. Please, come and rootle them out. I can't kneel down, so you'll have to do that.

Free: BIG pallet (Builth Wells) Gifted This is 47" x 78.5" [ 119.5 x 199.5cm]. It's close-slatted on one side - it had panels delivered on it. (I'm having trouble uploading photos from my phone, but could send it via WhatApp ) It's on tarmac, leaning up against the side of the house. You'd need a van or a decent sized trailer to collect it. I'm around most of the time.

Request: old rigid polycarbonate sheets (Builth Wells) Expired Rather a long shot, but it's worth asking... If you are upgrading a garden structure, shed, garage or greenhouse which uses 'clear' polycarbonate sheets and you don't WANT the old ones, I'd be very grateful indeed for them. The minimum usable length is 44" - that's 110cm: any width, really. Fingers crossed! Thank you!

Free: internal door (Builth Wells) Expired my son brought it back from a job - used and unwanted , but newish, internal door. No lock, but has knob and hinges still attached. It's 68 x 198cm ( 26 3/4" x 78"). It's stored outside, so the sooner it's collected, the better! Unmarked, save for robin droppings... Collect from Builth.
