Request: Old/non-working Henry style hoover (Wrexham LL11) Hi all. Looking for an old or non-working Henry style hoover - so Henry, Hetty, James, Numatic, etc. It doesn't need to be working and it doesn't matter which one as it will be used as a dust collection unit for various DIY style projects so it just needs to have that style hose and collection unit. Request: Old Frame Tent / Greenhouse Frame (Wrexham LL11) Anyone getting rid of an old frame style tent (don't necessarily need the actual tent material - just as much of the frame as possible) or a greenhouse frame? We just need something to expand our current duck enclosure to give them some more floor space and are hoping to do it urgently before the country ends up back in a full blown AI housing order. Happy to consider other items that will allow us to expand our area that aren't tent frames etc - so welcoming any outside the box thinking.

Request: Paddling Pools/Sand Pits (Wrexham LL11) Expired Looking for any hard shell/solid plastic paddling pools and/or sand pits anyone might be planning on getting rid of at the end of the summer, or if you're replacing any with newer/bigger ones. We use them with our ducks and the ones we currently have are starting to wear a bit thin from constant emptying and refilling (ducks make their water very dirty, very quickly). Happy to also consider some that may have a small hole in (please tell us first so we don't try and use them with the ducks) so we can fill them as dirt baths for the chickens. Thanks in advance.

Free: Size 10 Safety Shoes - New/Unworn (Wrexham LL11) Expired As per title, a pair of brand new and unworn size 10 safety shoes. Provided by employer but prefer safety trainers. Ideal for someone about to take up an apprenticeship, starting a new job, etc where safety footwear is required. No box but tag still on one shoe. Soles shown to show not worn.

Request: Old style baby monitor - audio only (Wrexham LL11) Expired We're looking for an old style baby monitor - one of those walkie-talkie style things where you literally get the audio only. We don't really need one that's got a camera on it as it's for monitoring an incubator - the incubator has alarms on it but we can't hear them with the door shut, and can't leave the door open as we need to try to keep the temperature regulated. If it's portable then that's just a bonus.

Request: Lino/Safety Flooring Offcuts/Pieces (Wrexham LL11) Expired Hi all - looking for lino or safety flooring offcuts or pieces in or near Wrexham. We have approx. 30 ducklings due to hatch in the next week or so and at the moment our brooder needs to stay in our spare bedroom (because we suddenly realised we can't plug the heat plates they need in in the bathroom and still be able to shut the door so the cats can't get in to them - whoops 🤦🏻‍♀️) - any pieces we can use to make sure our carpet is protected will be appreciated. We're right on the borders of Wrexham/Flintshire/Denbighshire so happy to go towards Ruthin and Mold for large enough amounts. *** Picture of my ducks and some of their eggs for attention only - aren't they gorgeous 😍 ***

Request: Chicken wire - rolls/offcuts (Wrexham LL11) Expired Does anyone have any spare roles of chicken wire (25mm/1 inch holes) we might be able to buy from them. They've announced the spread of the AIPZ areas into Wales as of midnight - our duck run got trashed during the storms so they've been temporarily sharing the chicken run, but as of tomorrow they're not allowed to again. We just need to make a new run for the ducks quite quickly and can't get any ordered to arrive quickly enough. If anyone has any semi decent lengths of offcuts they're about to throw away I'll gladly make use of them to create the rat proofing 'skirt' around the run. Thanks in advance.

Request: Pre-formed Pond Base / Sandpit (Wrexham LL11) Expired Big ask but is anyone getting rid of a pre-formed/plastic pond base or even a kids solid plastic sand-pit or paddling pool? We're trying to make a pond area for our ducks and the original item we had isn't going to work as we planned/hoped it would. It doesn't need to be huge, but does need to be watertight or easy to patch. Photo of our ducks - because, well just because. 🤓

Free: Large bag of hangers (Wrexham LL11) Gifted Free to anyone who can collect - large bag of assorted clothes hangers. Mostly ladies sizes (varying sizes) but also some men's sizes, skirt/clip hangers and trouser hangers mixed in. Can leave by front door for contactless collection.

Free: Moving boxes (Wrexham LL11) Expired I have about 12 boxes here suitable for moving. Mostly medium sized so good for books/toys etc where you don't want the boxes to get too heavy. Collection from Bwlchgwyn. Need them gone so can sort through some more stuff. We get boxes every couple of months or so currently so will start listing every time we have some to go.

Request: shrubbery, saplings (Wrexham LL11) Expired Hi. We're looking for healthy shrubbery, saplings etc to help repopulate a border hedgeline for our field (we are also repairing the fence line but want to also put in a more natural border for the wildlife too). If anyone has anything they are pulling out that will help with this we would be interested.

Free: Slow Cooker - Large (Wrexham LL11) Gifted Slow cooker available - has had a wipe as not been used for a while. Still works, we just don't use it and would be happy to have the space back again. Can be collected from Bwlchgwyn or from Rhostyllen by agreement. Listed on multiple sites/groups.

Free: Mirrored Wall Display Units x 3 (Wrexham LL11) Gifted We have 3 x wooden-mirrored wall display units that need collecting ASAP otherwise they will need to go in the skip. Shelves missing but can be easily replaced - you get to make sure they're strong enough for whatever you want to display that way. Only getting rid of these as they came as an extra when we bid on other items at an auction. Please note: the ladders are not included (I just didn't have anywhere to move them out of the way).
