Even if you change the plug, they will not work in the UK due to the different voltage. But, if you're planning a trip to the USA or Canada, these are perfect. Collection from OX4 6NB

Free: Floor standing fan (Blackbird Leys OX4) Gifted It works perfectly but underside of the base looks like it might have lost some rubber/plastic feet so it leaves an imprint on the carpet. We over came this by putting the fan on a carpet tile which we'll pass on with the fan.
