Yes, it's a real clarinet. Was gifted to me some years ago by a friend who, as I play all species of bagpipes, thought I might like it. Apart from scaring the neighbours and all the dogs on the estate it's not got much use and has been stored for quite some time. Everything seems to be in order and comes with music books. Silverline make. Rated to 180kg (but I only used it up to around 100kg). I used this to lift and amateur radio antenna into position each time it was to be used but ended up bolting it up permanently in the end so no longer needed.
