Free: Beer boot (Lake City/Meadowbrook) 16-1/2" tall (including stand) glass beer "boot"; perfect condition. This one is not the traditional boot shape, but it holds a pint of beer (or water, if you want to use it as a vase). Free: Cole slaw (Lake City/Meadowbrook) Gifted Several gallons (!) of homemade Cole slaw. Light vinegar-&-oil dressing (slightly sweet, not excessive), so you could eat as is or embellish with extra vinegar, or mayonnaise, or...? Include day (prefer today, but tomorrow ok), time (2-hr window) & quantity you can use. **I'll respond to interested parties, but require confirmation response from you before sending address. (I find this eliminates a lot of no-shows.)

Free: Turkey chili (Lake City/Meadowbrook) Gifted About half gallon home made turkey chili. Made today with turkey, kidney beans, corn, carrot, sweet potato, cilantro & a bit of spinach; also tomato paste & beer. Trouble is, I added too much hot salsa, and my husband doesn't like that much spice. I cannot eat this much by myself. Please let me know if you're interested by Sunday 8pm (you can pick up another day). I will refrigerate (or freeze) until then.

Free: Cakes & Brownies (some melted) (Lake City/Meadowbrook) Expired Update: 2 brownies, 30 pcs chocolate cake, 16 pcs white cake. Take a look at third photo, folks... notice something? Despite overnight refrigeration & verifying pickup time (cake was set on ice pack), this guy flaked on me & cake melted in 83* heat. Neither he nor the other three no-shows who were "dreaming of chocolate cake" or "would love this" are likely to get any offers from me again. IF YOU AGREE TO PICK UP, AT LEAST HAVE THE DECENCY TO COMMUNICATE IF YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND. Sheesh. So, back to business: Please tell me day & time you can pick up, and how many pieces of cake. If you just ask me "Is this available", I won't respond. Give me at least 2 hrs to respond.

Free: Holi festival supplies (Lake City/Meadowbrook) Gifted Supplies for Holi (Hindu festival of colors, love, and spring). Holi occurs every March; people throw pulverized colored chalk at each other; it's a pretty wild & fun celebration! This collection includes jewelry (bracelets, bangles, necklaces, ribbon leis, belt with tiny bells) and chalk (& small clay pots to carry it). There is more than shown n photos. Please take all - it's a cool collection, but I probably won't use it.

Free: Stainless steel flatware (Lake City/Meadowbrook) Gifted Box of stainless forks, spoons & knives. Some matched sets plus a few odd patterns, but all are clean & serviceable.

Free: Large Hot/Cold gel pack (Lake City/Meadowbrook) Gifted 10" x 15", Caldera brand, pliable therapeutic gel pack. Can be used for either hot or cold therapy; instructions printed on the gel pack. Great for sore backs or wrap-around leg or arm. (I have occasionally used it to keep food cold.)

Free: Tiles (Lake City/Meadowbrook) Expired Square Tiles: *Set of seven beige (12-3/4" sq), photo on left. *Set of seven beige (11-3/4"), photo in middle. *Set of two white (11-3/4"sq) photo on right. Beige tiles just need minor cleaning, as we used them in garden. (Both beige sets are closer in color than photo appears.) White tiles have a bit of caulk on front & some plaster on back. All are in great shape (no cracks or chips). Take as many as you can use.

Free: Locally-made cold salads (Lake City/Meadowbrook) Gifted About a quart of each: Lemon Capellini, Broccoli Waldorf, & Red Curry Rice with Asparagus/peppers/peanuts. (These have been transferred from cardboard serving containers to clean yogurt containers, to prevent leaking.) Pick up today, Sunday; eat tonight. Great food - just more than we need. If I offer this to you, you'll need to respond to my offer before I send address. Will check messages every 30-60 min.

Free: Akebia cuttings (Lake City/Meadowbrook) Gifted Beautiful vine, easy to train on trellis or arbor; bunches of fragrant violet-colored blossoms in spring. I just trimmed my Akebia so have a bucket full of easy-to-root cuttings. Akebia is vigorous but not invasive - it's easy to cut back or pull out if it starts going out-of-bounds!

Free: Organic 2% milk (Lake City/Meadowbrook) Expired Nearly full half gallon 2% milk. Expired Feb 17, but I opened it to test & it's still drinkable. Will sour in a day or two, but it is then excellent for cooking: bread pudding, soup, bread recipes, even for homemade cheese. Please include day & time you can pick up - the sooner, the better.

Free: Electric iron (Lake City/Meadowbrook) Expired Gently used & clean. I tested it today (ironed pillowcases) & it worked fine. (I did not test the spray/steam function.) If you need a basic iron for occasional use or crafts, this should do the trick. Please include day/time for pickup; allow up to 12 hours for me to respond.
