Silver metal, very sturdy. The mount rotates so you can change the angle of the speaker. It looks like there are screws for adjusting to suit narrow or wider speakers.

These are foam filled camping mats, with a valve for inflating. They can be deflated and rolled up. I've had these for many years and they are good quality, although one of them has been repaired and it does go down a little bit. I used them for camping but also for extra beds for kids sleepovers. They are quite comfy.
