Free: 1950s Kitchen Unit (Highbury N5) In pretty good original condition, I recently repaired the articulated green doors that slide back into the unit and applied candle wax to the runners so they move smoothly. The work surface is enamelled steel in decent condition. All hinges and handles are good, original paint I believe. Back is solid plywood, no rot. 1825mm high, 850mm wide, 450mm deep. It'll be emptied of its crap. I'm quite okay with you reselling it if you want to. The downside is that it's located on the second floor. The stairs are reasonably wide and I can help but it's a heavy thing and it will require a van or large estate car at least - see dimensions. I'm in Thursday and Friday and then next week. I can't do weekends. Absolutely no holding. Located in N5 1UP there's free parking available. We're in a LTN but there's access via Holloway Road. Please tell me exactly when you can pick up; "Is it still available?" is no help at all - if it's not marked Promised it is available and the ball is in your court.

Free: Miele Washing Machine motor (Highbury N5) My washing machine's drum fell apart so I dismantled it to make it easier to dispose of but kept the motor. It spins freely and always worked perfectly; no signs of overheating or worn bearings. Beautiful German engineering that I can't bear to scrap. Bear in mind it's heavy. In your first message please state when you can pick up from N5 1UP - Highbury Fields area. I'm in all day during the week but weekends are not possible as I'm in and out a lot. Ideally today or tomorrow or Monday- Friday next week.

Free: Clarophone Irish Tenor Bano (Highbury N5) Withdrawn I received this from a kind neighbour but it's time to let it go. It's missing a couple of tensioners but seems okay. I can't see any cracks, neck seems straight and is firmly attached. I'm no musician though so bear that in mind. GDAE iirc; I vaguely remember something to do with "Chicago Tuning" which you may need to look into in order to tune it correctly - the previous owner struggled. Pick up only. From Highbury Fields area. Weekdays only. No holding. I'm in the process of moving and will be listing tonnes of good stuff. If you mess me about I'll ignore you forevermore. If you're polite, punctual and communicate well I'll consider you favourably in the future.

Free: An assortment of old hand tools (Highbury N5) Gifted There's a jig that takes a rip-saw blade cuts at 45 degrees (quite heavy), a hand drill and its chuck key, a small plane, a crappy adjustable spanner/pliers and a knackered blowlamp - I think it's got a blocked jet or two; could be a fun restoration. Everything works except the blowlamp. All to go together. Pick up from N5 1UP, Highbury Fields area, we're in an LTN so head for Melgund Road or Fieldway Crescent if coming by vehicle. Pick up either today, Friday 3rd October or any time next week Monday to Friday - I'm in all day and most evenings. Cheers!

Free: 1 or 2 sturdy kids' tables (Highbury N5) Gifted Please note: You will need a car or van to transport this/these item(s). They go to the tip on Wednesday 8th if not collected by then. I have these two tables - you can take one or both. They are kid-sized tables the sort you get in infants' schools. My mum got for them us 55 years ago but my finger-painting days are practically over. They're very well made, strong steel legs and tough formica tops. Please note the sizes: 100cm long, 61cm high and 45cm deep. The one without the under-shelf is 52cm high. You can have one or both, pick up during the week only - I'm in all day and most evenings. Friday 3rd, Monday 6th, Tuesday 7th or morning of Wednesday 8th. Postcode N5 1UP - Highbury Fields.

Request: A small tin of blackboard paint (Highbury N5) Received I've made a small picture frame which I want to give the look of ebonised wood. Does anyone have a tin of blackboard (some say 'chalkboard') paint that will not be missed? I'm happy to travel within reason. Cheers!
Free: Holly trunk for woodworking, lathe? (Highbury N5) Expired It seems a pity to just chop this up and burn it or leave it to rot. Apparently holly wood turns very well on a lathe and it carves beautifully. It's currently green so would need to be seasoned for a year or so. It's heavy, very dense. It's 6ft long and about 60mm in diameter at the bottom. Neither shed nor gate included. Pick up from N5 1UP - Highbury Fields area. I'm in during the week days and evenings but not at weekends.

Free: Whoop Fitness Tracker Battery (Highbury N5) Expired Found in Highbury area, I'd like to reunite it with owner. It did charge and the light turned green but after a couple of days was red again (when tapped,) I'm not sure if this is normal or whether the battery is past its best. No holding, no weekends,

Request: 2 Wheelchair front wheels (Highbury N5) Expired My next project is an old wicker shopping basket (pictured but not on offer) that I've received and that is missing its wheels. I'm looking for a pair of wheels ideally with bearings, I thought the front wheels from a wheelchair would be ideal. I can make a new axle and or bearings so that part isn't really important. Many thanks!

Request: Espresso Machine (Highbury N5) Expired Do you have one that doesn't turn on, leaks or refuses to pump water out of the top bit? I'd like to fix it and save it from landfill. Unfortunately I can't repair Bean to Cup machines: too complicated, or machines that use pods. Thanks very much!

Request: Black & Decker 14.4V Battery charge (Highbury N5) Expired Hi, I've been given a Black and Decker "EPC14" 14.4V cordless drill by another Trash Nothinger. It has the "A14E" battery but not the charger. I was wondering if someone somewhere had a charger. Perhaps you had the same drill and the battery/drill died leaving the charger without a purpose in life! There are two types apparently: the type of charger that plugs into the drill or the cradle type. See photos , plug-in type has a 5.5mm diameter jack. Prepared to travel. Many thanks.

Request: A garden parasol base (Highbury N5) Received I've rescued a garden parasol from being chucked away but now I need a base for it. I can make adaptors for the stick part so the size of the hole doesn't matter. I'd be happy with any kind i.e water-filled or just heavy!

Request: Any type of lawn sprinkler (Highbury N5) Expired I thought I'd ask before buying one: I'm having a bit of turf laid next week and thought someone might have an unused one sitting in the shed.

Request: Old type of electric kettle lead (Highbury N5) Expired Hello, I'm looking for a power lead for a 1960s kettle which has been kindly given to me by a neighbour. Perhaps you have one in a drawer somewhere or the attic. They can be rewired so if yours has a damaged cable I could fix it. The end that goes into the kettle is 33mm in diameter and the power pins are 18mm apart. Apparently no-one makes them anymore - but if you know otherwise please let me know!

Request: Metal sieve (Highbury N5) Expired Before I spend a whole quid on buying one (shudder)...has anyone out there got a one they don't want? I'll be using it for sieving fibres for model-making so it doesn't need to be food-safe. Ideally metal so that it can be statically charged to make grass flocking.......but plastic would be fine too. I can pick up whenever suits you as I am now a man of leisure. Ta very much!

Request: Rotary pencil sharpener (Highbury N5) Expired I do a lot of doodling and am forever needing to sharpen my pencils. The little sharpeners always seem to break the leads as do penknives. I've been told the old-fashioned type with the crank handle are much better. With that in mind, has anyone got one they don't need anymore? It doesn't have to have the fixing clamp - easy enough to make, and I could probably fix a problematic one. I'm very flexible with pick-up times and days and would be eternally grateful.

Free: Playmobil Helicopter 'City Action' (Highbury N5) Gifted Set #5563 You may have seen this on Trash Nothing earlier. It was listed as needing repair as the pin that holds the rotor blades on was missing. I've made a new one out of steel and lightly glued it in with non-toxic glue. The blades spin freely now (with a little wind power!): Be aware that it's missing a few parts: the pilot's visor and the lamp that is slung under the fuselage, so not ideal for collectors. It comes with the assembly leaflet thingy which has the numbers of the parts so you could buy the missing stuff from ebay. Also, despite the photo it does not fly, yet. Pick up from Highbury Fields area. I'm in most weekdays and evenings, but away at weekends. Please be polite, punctual and communicative. Don't say you want it & then ghost me.

Request: A garden compost bin in Highbury (Highbury N5) Expired I've been piling up kitchen waste and shredded newspapers and grass cuttings in a foetid heap in the garden under a tarp and nothing is happening! I'd like to try a proper compost bin, I'm in Highbury but I don't have anything other than 2-wheeled transport so it needs to be local. Many thanks!
Request: A small amount of gloss black paint (Highbury N5) Expired I'm fixing up an old Dutch (actually Finnish) bicycle, I need enough gloss black to paint one mudguard. It can be absolutely anything so long as it's shiny and black! Many thanks!
