Free: Bosch Maxx 6 Washing Machine (Highbury N5) Please read and consider all I have written. I'll ignore people who ask for it before 1st November or offer to pick it up on a weekend. Fully functioning, no issues. Available from 2nd November until 15th November, weekdays only. No weekends. After that time it will be subject to house clearance and presumably scrapped. I'm moving to a new house where there is already a machine plus my partner wants to take hers: I don't need three washing machines! It's about 5 years old, light use: about once a week on the Eco setting, light loads. 60cm wide, 60cm deep and 84cm tall. It's on the second floor of a big house. Free: Books - CURRENTLY "TAKEN" (Highbury N5) Promised EDIT: I've been contacted by someone who has said they will take them all. I can't guarantee anything at this stage. Free, no fees either way. Bring something to carry them in. They're mostly non-fiction, antiques, historical and geographic, militaria - particularly WWII, quite a few about London. We have had two book-sellers come to view them and they're not interested nothing of any value apparently. They will all go to the tip the following week. Free: Mia & Coco Electric Blanket / Throw (Highbury N5) Gifted CURRENTLY PROMISED WITH A BACK-UP. We bought this for our mum but she only used it a couple of times, it's practically brand new. It is from a smoke free and pet free home. All the details are here: I've tested it and it's working perfectly. Comes complete with manual; please read the How to Use part as you have to press On and then one of the other buttons within 10 seconds - it's a safety feature apparently. You can adjust the heat setting and how long it stays on for before switching itself off. It measures 120cm x 160cm - about 4' x 5' 3" Pick up from N5 1UP, let me know if you're coming by vehicle as it's in an LTN. Easy parking. Free: Steepletone ST918 record player (Highbury N5) Gifted For pick up only, during the week, no later than 6pm. Works fine, needs a wipe as it's been in the attic for years. LP not included. Please note: it's a very basic machine! It has built-in speakers or you can plug external speakers in. Ideal for an older person who just wants a simple machine for playing their old records. I'd recommend replacing the needle (they're available on ebay) but it does the job. It has one knob that turns it on and off and controls volume - it works smoothly. There's a very basic manual. Approximate footprint 30.5cm x 28cm Pick up only from N5 1UP. During the week, no weekends. Priority given to those who are close and have good feedback. Please bring something to carry it in/with as I'm all out.

Free: Mac Allister 18V batteries charger (Highbury N5) Gifted I received these along with a cordless drill/driver from a kind recycler. The charger's wiring was damaged but everything else was okay. I fixed the wiring and everything was great until the motor burnt out in the drill. Lots of smoke...sparks. The charger works fine and the batteries hold a decent charge; they might as well go to someone with a tool that they'll fit in. Pick up from N5 1UP. It's in an LTN - check your route if coming by vehicle. Pick up tomorrow, Friday or sometime next week - I'm mostly in or can leave it in a safe place for doorstep pick up. No weekends. Priority to people close by with good feedback.

Free: Old tools and a homemade toolbox (Highbury N5) Gifted Four saws, not super sharp but fine for soft wood; a Stanley knife, a 12" steel rule and a folding, older 24" rule, inches only - no metric markings; a file that's a bit worn; a pair of portable scissors and a drift/punch thing that I think was used for old style Rawlplugs - could be turned into a punch/cold chisel. Pick up from N5 1UP during the week, 10am - 6pm. Priority given to those with good feedback and who are local. Please be absolutely sure you want them and can pick them up when you say so.

Free: Wooden coat stand (Highbury N5) Gifted Made from real tree wood; top is removeable so it'll fit in a car. There's a split in the ring that holds umbrellas which hasn't worsened in 20 years so I'm calling it fine! Pick up only from N5 1UP, weekdays only. Please be absolutely sure you want it and are able to collect it; timewasters will be reported and blocked from future giveaways.

Free: 5X5 Kallax Unit - Last chance (Highbury N5) Gifted I live in N5 1UP which is in an LTN - you can only get to my place if you take Melgund Road or Fieldway Crescent. Check your route please. Parking isn't a problem. The unit is disassembled. It's generally in a good condition, I've given the pieces a really good clean although there are some marks if you look hard enough. I managed to put a ding in the inside of one of the main uprights when dismantling. I've filled the hole with wood filler and it looks fine now. All the screws are there and most of the dowels. You'll obviously need a van or a large-ish car to pick them up. I expect them to be collected and removed in one operation. The long pieces are 6ft long. It goes to the tip on Tuesday

Free: 1960s 'Galt' Building blocks (Highbury N5) Gifted My old Galt building blocks. 5 x long 28cm, 20 x medium 14cm, 16 short 7cm; 6 x arches: all 3.5cm thick. Very good at teaching ratios and proportions to kids. No batteries required. Believed to be Sycamore. They weigh 11Kg. Pick up during the week from N5 1UP. Timewasters will be reported and blocked.

Free: 1950s (?) Black & Decker drill (Highbury N5) Gifted Fully working, but it's heavy and very basic. No screwdriver function, no speed control, no hammer function, no soft start, mains powered. Squeeze the trigger and it runs - that's it. Comes with a chuck key. Teeth on chuck are good. I'm in all week, can't do weekends.

Free: Tilly lamp, lighter, spare mantles (Highbury N5) Gifted It does sort of work but really needs the leather washer in the pump to be replaced. All the jets are free and the glass is un-cracked. This would suit someone who likes a project and has a bit of practical nous. It comes with the lighter and some spare mantles. There are various places online that do spares - you'll need the pump washer and some lantern oil and some meths for the lighter. Pick up only, from N5 1UP - Highbury Fields. Free: Gravity Randall Step Ladder (Highbury N5) Gifted My dad's old step ladder. In good shape still if you ignore the paint spatter. Always been kept in the dry so no rot. Top platform is about 6ft. high when opened out; when folded the ladders are about 7ft long. You're going to need a appropriately sized vehicle to transport it (A Lime bike won't cut it) or live very close. Collection only. From N5 1UP - Highbury Fields. Free: Butcher's Block Kitchen table (Highbury N5) Gifted READ EVERYTHING BEFORE ASKING. This has been so useful in my kitchen which has limited worktop area. I'm going to be moving soon and there won't be space for it so it's got to go. I'll miss it a lot! It's hugely solid, the cutting board alone is over 6cm deep. It has wheels on one end which lock. It's solid wood throughout - no veneers, no ply. Possibly Beech. 84cm high, 70cm wide and 50cm deep. Pick up only, from N5 1UP - Highbury Fields. One pair is from a Yamaha with the weird LH thread on the right mirror, the rest are from/for Harley Sportsters so will not have metric threads. Request: White matte emulsion paint (Highbury N5) Expired I've finally got round to sorting out a part of my ceiling that had suffered a water leak. The area is about 1m square, I just need enough white matte emulsion to go over the repair; so the dregs at the bottom of a can or bucket will probably suffice. Free: Wesco "Pushboy" Bin (Highbury N5) Gifted A design classic, showing signs of wear with a few marks but freshly cleaned, no smell and everything working as it should. Made in Germany. £145 new! Note that the bin consists of two parts - an inner and an outer. 40cm diameter and 75.5cm tall, 50 litre capacity. Inner bin is zinc plated steel, outer is powder-coated steel with a stainless steel, spring-loaded flap. No rust. Be aware that while not overly heavy it's bulky and awkward to carry. Pick up from Highbury Fields area; we're in a Low Traffic Neighbourhood - you can only enter via Fieldway Crescent off Holloway Road. Pick Up Only! Pick up during the week only. No weekends. Free: CRT Hitachi TV + Set Top box (Highbury N5) Expired 21" Colour TV and set top box. Turns on fine, buttons on front change channel and adjust volume. Heavy and awkward to carry so bring transport. No scart cable (might have one by next week) so can't test set top box but it was all perfect when put into attic. Free: CRT Hitachi TV and set top box (Highbury N5) Expired IN YOUR FIRST POST PLEASE TELL ME TIME AND DAY OF PICK UP Be aware that the item weighs over 20Kg. Please let me know when you're going to be here and let me know when you're on your way . Please be sure you want it and have the capacity to collect it. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This went into the attic when we got out first flat screen TV - 2010 ish. It was working perfectly with a pin-sharp picture that flat screen TVs can only dream of. As you can see it turns on but I don't have a scart cable to fully test it. TV does not have a HDMI port. Just scart and aerial. I'm picking up a Scart lead at the weekend hopefully and well add pics of it working; maybe even a link to a video! TV does not have a remote (available on ebay) but does have buttons on the front. There was a universal remote stored with it which I will include - it may work, it may not. The Goodmans set-top box has a remote which can control TV channel, volume, brightness et c. Battery compartment is clean. Please note the size of it - it's big and awkward to carry. 47cm deep from front to back, 46.5cm high, 50cm wide. Weight is 20Kg - 44lbs - 3 stones. Flippin' Heavy. Free: Toy motorbikes et cetera (Highbury N5) Expired I have: seven Maisto motorcycles, four Matchbox "choppers" from the 1970s, one blue dinosaur, a bag of colourful wooden beads, a Corgi Comics Dick Dastardly Racer, three Magic Roundabout toys that have moveable parts and a 'Madagascar' zebra. They're a bit dusty and some of the Maisto stuff are missing tiny parts - not ideal for reselling but worth a go. All to go together. Pick up only from N5 1UP: Highbury Fields. Free: TV aerial & cable (11.5m) (Highbury N5) Gifted A new, unused TV aerial and approximately 11.5 metres (ignore "50m") of unused cable, I've just unspooled it to get a decent measurement. It was left over when I replaced a cable for a neighbour; it turned out the aerial was not needed. Free: Kids' / Small person's Sleeping Bag (Highbury N5) Gifted Best described as "vintage" this has been in a dry attic since the late '70s; so very slightly musty but would be fine after an airing. It's 168cm long and 66cm wide so a bit small for a typical adult. It has a big zip that goes down one side and along the end so it can be unzipped and used as a blanket. Zip functions perfectly. Has a cottony fabric lining so it's quite warm despite being a bit thin - it could be used as a dog blanket or as a moving blanket to protect a precious thing. Nylon case has a handle. Free: Ironing board (Highbury N5) Gifted Works well, made in the UK, can be set at different heights, comes with a cover that's okay but a bit of a faff as the velcro holding straps interfere with the leg mechanism. It might be worth getting a cover with an eleasticated skirt. I may be overthinking this. It has a retractable cradle for the iron so it takes up less space when folded. It does NOT come with an iron. Located in Highbury fields area. N5 1UP. Ideally pick up Tuesday, Thursday or Friday of this week; I can't do weekends.
