Request: UVB detector/sensor to Borrow (Riverside South) Expired Hi there! This is likely to be a very niche request! I've got a terrarium for 2 pet frogs and one of them is not doing well. I have gone to see a vet and have a list of things to address. One of these is verifying how much UVB radiation that specific frog is actually receiving! They have different hangout spots and so she might be lacking. This is getting pretty long so I'll finish by mentioning that I'd be looking to borrow a UVB detector/sensor/meter for a few hours.

Request: Borrowing 3.75mm (US 5) DPN (Riverside South) Received Hi there! Just got news that a cousin of mine is pregnant and I've got precious little time to knit her baby a gift! I've already got size 5 (3.75 mm ) circular knitting needles, but the top half of the hat requires size 5 double pointed needles. That is something I don't have and can't afford right now, just after paying my tuition. If anyone has a pair I could borrow, I would be very grateful! Cheers, Carina

Free: Old Faithful Couch (Riverside South) Gifted Our old faithful couch that has served my family very well! No idea when it comes to brand as it was a gift from another family member about 20 years ago! It has a canvas/cloth cover and clearly shows it's use. When the scratches appeared, we said we'd buy a new couch, and cover them up for now - that was maybe 10 years ago now! It was in a smoke free home, but cats have always been around so it is not pet-hair free. If someone is looking for a "temporary" couch or otherwise interested, delivery can be arranged with our trailer.

Request: Size 2 or 1 (2.25 , 2.00 mm) Knit (Riverside South) Expired Hi! Somewhat beginner Knitter here. After starting on a mitten pattern I realized that my hands are much smaller than the author's! After a little bit of research I've concluded that I would need to switch to a US size 2 or 1 (2.25 mm and 2.00 mm) knitting needles. I unfortunately went over my knitting budget for Christmas gifts and am turning to the community to borrow or receive such needles! Due to the small circumference of the project, I would be most comfortable using short circulars (around 23 cm , about 9 inches ) and/or DPNs. Thank you for your time!

Free: Simple 3L Crock-pot (Riverside South) Gifted 3 litre or 7 quart Crock-pot in good working condition. The labels for "Hi", "Low" and "Keep Warm" are mostly erased and have been traced over with a permanent marker..

Free: 1 Succulent (Riverside South) Expired Small Echeveria Pullidonis cuttings from my larger plant. I really have no reason to keep them all and will be happy to see them got to a new home! They're not very fussy plants: I drench approximately once a week (though I have forgotten to do so many times) and the edges will turn pink if given enough sunlight. Due to lack of windowsill space, some of the baby plants are a little stretched out.

Free: Wok + The Rock Frying pan (Riverside South) Gifted Mostly unused wok with lid. Was used a fair bit a few years ago just after being bought but nowadays sits in the back of the cupboard. There is also a frying pan from the Rock that we also haven't been using much recently.

Free: Acorn squash plant (Riverside South) Gifted 2 seedlings of (surprisingly) the same age. I had handful of 4 year old seeds I decided to throw in garden and almost all of them came up! Needless to say, I don't have space for that many squash plants

Free: Echeveria pulidonis Succulent (Riverside South) Expired 3 pots of baby Echeveria pulidonis succulent. They are currently in improvised pots and would benefit from being transplanted into a real pot of the same approximate size. The mother plant is at least 6 years old.

Free: Baby Aristaloe plants (Riverside South) Expired I have 4 pots of baby aristaloe plants. My mother plant has produced so many babies over the years that all my friends and family have one! None of them have managed to under/overwater it enough to need a replacement either. While the plant is an aloe hybrid, it cannot be used like aloe vera.

Free: Summer Fun (bundle or seperate) (Riverside South) Expired Bag of fun summer activities. 6 frisbees, bucket, shovel and seashells combo and a pair of baseball/softball catching gloves. Youth size is in almost new condition (approximately 10 to 16 year old hand size) and The adult size is well worn leather. Reposting as it will be donated to Value Village in a week.

Request: Handheld GPS unit (Riverside South) Received Hello there! Anybody perchance have a handheld gps unit they don't use anymore? I'm about to start a new job that involves hiking in remote areas. Having a reliable gps unit would give me a safety net when the "trusty" navigation tablets fail
