Salvage wood from old pine pews (EN6 4DR)
A church refurbishment means pews to give away. They were 1960s style pine pews relatively easy to take apart and use the wood for other things or modify and refurbish. They have now been cut to move from the building. Update on previous posts. The pile is shrinking but there still a number left as pictured.

I am replacing wood floors & so have used wood flooring to offer. Replacing because it was damaged in one location but the room was quite large so I estimate the remaining undamaged boards would cover a room of say 5-10sqm. Tongue & groove edging. They were stuck down with adhesive so there is some elbow grease in grinding off remnant of that. They are good quality boards though & join together seamlessly. (If you saw my post last week I did have someone come to collect but they only took about half of what I had before hence still have this .)

A bit like a slow cooker only you cook the food on the hob first and then transfer to the ecopot. It doesn't plug in but keeps the food hot and slow cooks it that way. A bit like a food thermos. Could be quite good for hot meals on day trips out. Or just a way to get slow cooked food at home. Has a few dents on the side from being pushed into a overfull cupboard but otherwise as new. Includes a recipe book.
