Nicely made. Couldn’t bear to sling them. Useful in a drawer perhaps?

Plastic foliage (Barnard's Green WR14)
Withdrawn
Rescued from a bonfire. Was originally on a garden trellis I think. Individual sprigs that can be threaded on to wire. I was going to use them to thread into natural foliage decorations to add colour, but have been vetoed by my spouse. Anyone out there who can save them and make use?

2 wooden box/trays (Barnard's Green WR14)

Nicely made, from Early Learning Centre (RIP) and must have contained games at one point. Couldn’t bear to throw them away. Maybe usable in a drawer? Outside dimensions are 28 cm and 26.5 cm

Stretch-on ice grippers (Barnard's Green WR14)
Stretch them on over your shoes and hey presto, extra grip on slippery surfaces by virtue of the metal studs beneath. My size 7/8 welly is depicted, so I am guessing that the smaller ones are for a small adult or abchild

Free:
Two whetstones (Barnard's Green WR14)
…or one if you only want one. I found that I had three, which is two too many for one person

Three golf balls (Barnard's Green WR14)
I don’t know about golf or these golf balls save that they make for lethal projectiles when flung by a toddler in a kitchen, so they’ve got to go.

Free:
Three skipping ropes (Barnard's Green WR14)
I went through a phase of collecting these but realised I only use two and these are now spare. The beaded one is good for beginners, the thin one for speed and the other one - not sure. Such a brilliant way to exercise - Lauren_jumps on Insta is there for Inspo

Black and Decker circular saw (Barnard's Green WR14)
Finally faced up to the fact that I never use this, never having mastered a straight line. Also, slightly scary and I am going to quit while I still have a full set of fingers. Don’t let that deter you! Includes instruction manual and blade.

Forgive me, for I have sinned (Barnard's Green WR14)
I have strayed in to the middle aisle of Lidl and bought inexpensive power tools that are not designed to last. Three drills, to be exact. They have all died, and now I am left with the batteries (3 x 20v and 1 x 16 volt) and chargers. If anyone would take them I would feel less guilty. If anyone wants to try repairing the three drills, you are welcome to have them too.

Couple of drain rods (plumber’s snake) (Barnard's Green WR14)
Gifted
These are long, 20 foot plus, because I have a really long internal drain run in out kitchen which periodically gets blocked. You can see from the photo that both of these have got kinks, at around the 2.4m mark, so they won’t be much use for distances beyond that. Only after I had kinked these two did I get the hang of long distance rodding..

Two substantial cabinet doors (Barnard's Green WR14)
Gifted
A couple of doors which I salvaged from a bonfire a few months ago. They are fire doors, as witness the channels running round the outside where intumescent strips were fitted. I saved them because they are such good solid bits of timber. Roughly 80 x 60 cm and 90 x 64. Would make good solid alcove shelves for instance if cut down.

Two traditional dining chairs - 1930s/40s? (Barnard's Green WR14)
Expired
Inherited from my mum, who inherited them from her parents. I’m guessing at the vintage, but they are solid and well made. They have been re-covered, and as you can see even that is looking shabby now, and one of the seats is giving way underneath. But the frames are good. I am sad to part with them but they are no longer needed by my daughter who has looked after them until now… a project for someone?

Air fryer (Barnard's Green WR14)
Gifted
Made by Tower, no longer produced I don’t think. Given to me, was in use by previous owner, but I don’t think I will use it. The tray bit does work but needs a bit of care because two of the three screws that hold the handle on have come adrift, reason being that the plastic lugs they screw in to have come off- see picture. If you were bothered, it might be repairable with that epoxy putty stuff.

Heavy duty hinges (Barnard's Green WR14)
Gifted
I have eight pairs of these hinges. If you Google Eclipse 4” hinges it looks as if they are readily available so you can see the specification online. Looks like they are designed for fire doors, which would fit because I salvaged them from some heavy fireproof cupboard doors which were delivered to our community bonfire pile. Not huge doors, so won’t have had the weight of a full size door on them. Would prefer that they go to someone actually looking to use them rather than for attempted sale. Some screws salvaged as well but not the full quota.

DAB radio (Barnard's Green WR14)
Gifted
Made by Pure, model D240, probably about 13 years old. Has an alarm, and all the settings and display are fine, but there is a faint rumbling bass-note even when not in use. I’m guessing that’s there is some component that has failed and that there might be a boffin at the repair cafe who might know but I haven’t gone down that route. But I would be very pleased if someone else would..

Caraway seeds (Barnard's Green WR14)

About a third of a packet, just bought. Our jar isn’t big enough for them all and we don’t use caraway very often. A shame to throw them away…
