Request: A Zanussi Washing Machine – for spares or repair (Wolverton MK12) A nearby friend has a Zanussi Washing machine that is still working, but bits of concrete are slowly falling off the top concrete counterweight. Is anyone throwing away a non-working Zanussi machine? We are just looking out for the medium size bit of concrete that is bolted to the top of the drum (but would be willing to take a whole machine then unscrew that bit, and then dispose of the rest, if that helped)

Request: Ladder - can be old with missing rung(s) - for tree (Wolverton MK12) Received We have a large tree, which I need to get up periodically, to prune. There is an ideal spot in the tree to fix half a ladder (maybe six or seven rungs) so I can proceed up further once I get off the top of my step-ladder. A wooden ladder will probably look most natural in a tree, but can consider metal. If you have a longer ladder, that is also a possibility. Thanks for reading

Free: Huge mirror. Silvering is still good. Been outside for years (Wolverton MK12) Expired This has a frame which was once on rollers as a wardrobe door. I would not think it is suitable for indoor use, because the frame shows signs of age. The mirror itself seems to be in fairly good condition: can't see places where silvering on back is compromised. We got this to improve the view out of the window, so you saw green instead of brick wall. Dimensions in mm: max 2230 x 925 .

Request: Narrow-wheeled Bicycle, for getting to work (Wolverton MK12) Expired I've used a narrow-wheeled (used to be called a Sports Bike - with drop handlebars) bike since I was a teenager ... now in my 60's. The current bike is past its sell-by date and various bits are thoroughly worn out - most notably the bearings, the chain and block system, and the wheels and tyres (28"x1.3/8"). Alternatively a bike of this sort for spares-or-repair might make it possible to make one working bike out of two. The current one makes very 'I'm almost dead' noises and the wheels wobble something terrible and the chain falls off periodically [all despite intelligent care and lubrication].
