Phillips Turntable (Hampton Hill TW12)
It was my dad's and part of his hifi when he used it last. It has a wooden cabinet and solid plastic lid with support arm. The turntable has a delicate cueing device, 4 speeds (not all used but - 16, 33, 45, 78) and a stylus mounted (quality unknown). The turntable is very solid on fairly sophisticated base with belt drive. But this is a bit of a DIY job as the belt dissolved a long time ago and needs replacing. The mechanism needs cleaning too as it left a series of rubbery stains inside. This means the jockey wheel needs to be reset and tested. All is very beautifully constructed and solid in design. The motor rotates fine. It is probably about 45 years old. I could, in principle deliver it. Output signal is via a cable and DIN plug. Very heavy device.
