Free: Tulip Tree (Fratton PO1) Promised This Tulip Tree was gifted to us around 10 years ago, but she is now too big for her pot. She needs planting out. Tulip Trees are beautiful trees, with striking large green leaves, which turn yellow in autumn before they drop. When they mature they develop flowers each year which look much like tulips, hence the name. However, they can grow very large, and very tall, so this is not a suitable Tree for a small Portsmouth garden. Because she was a gift, and we have had her a long time, we want her to go to a home where she will be planted out and loved and appreciated for many years to come. She currently measures around 2 metres 15 with pot, so you will need a suitable vehicle to collect her ( she can lie down to transport but this is still a decent size to fit in a vehicle). She will be dropping her leaves soon, and as we have had some rain now, and autumn is coming, this is the perfect time to plant her out. Please please, if you are interested in this tree, do some reading up on Tulip Trees, their eventual size etc to get a sense as to whether she is suitable for your garden . ( There are some mature examples in Gilbert White's garden in Selborne). I adhere to the fair chance programme on freegle, so the advert will be up for a few days before I reply.

Request: Dog Crate (Fratton PO1) Withdrawn If you have a small or medium dog crate you no longer use. I would be so pleased to take it off your hands. I look after injured and poorly wild birds, and dog crates are so useful for the early stages of their care and recuperation. Thanks so much.
Free: Broken Terracota Pots - For Garden Pots (Fratton PO1) Expired I am posting these, as the last lot I put in a skip, and someone knocked the door and asked for them all as apparently the pieces are very effective as drainage in the bottom of potted plants ? If you can use them, they are yours.

Free: Garden Plants (Fratton PO1) Gifted A selection of garden plants, all in pots, although some will need planting out in borders as they are not suitable for pots longterm. Various Salvia, a large white jasmine that will need training on trellis ( the pot has broken ), a lemon tree, and a monarda which the bees love. Please note, if you would just like one specific plant, please let me know, then I can pass the others on to anyone else who enquires.

Request: Small Dog Crate (Fratton PO1) Expired Hi there I occasionally take in poorly birds, if I can help them I do. Or else I take them to Brent Lodge. I have a small cage, but when I have a bigger bird such as a woodpigeon, it is too cramped. If you have a small dog crate you no longer use, I would be over the moon to put it to use. I have lots of days when I can collect too. Many thanks :)
