Bike trailer / Burley Solo (Falls Church/Mclean area)
Barely used* Burley brand bike trailer, hitches to the rear axle of an adult bike, or may be reconfigured as a push cart/jogging stroller. The wheels are quick-release and the trailer folds to fit in the trunk of a car. As is, it’s perfect for carting groceries home or for carrying supplies on a bicycle road trip. However, the restraint harness should be repaired or replaced if a (helmeted) child will ride inside. The torn strap is easy to detach and the repair. Attaching a new strap to the existing hardware, should be no trouble for the alterations person at your dry cleaner. I thought about doing this myself and selling the trailer, no I never got around to it. See the photos. *barely used, but far from new

TREK kids bike (Falls Church/Mclean area)
TREK-20 single-speed kids bike with a rear hand brake on its BMX-style handlebars. Under some dirt and a smidgen of surface rust is a very nice bike. It’s too big* for training wheels and too small for a big kid. It’s looking for a new grade-schooler. *A good bike shop will have training wheels tall enough, but the standard ones won’t fit. Pick up day & time is flexible near Longfellow Middle School.

These instruments are squeezed into a 16-quart plastic bin. Includes a little zither that lacks half its strings, an echo mic, and an assortment of percussion instruments/implements: tambourines, maracas, a nice-sounding triangle, and more! Call dibs and start making music together.

Board Games …. to a teacher? (Falls Church/Mclean area)
Gifted
Offer: a few dozen lightly-used board games - too many to list. Most are appropriate for ages 7-adult. A few are younger; a few start older. Some duplicates. A few puzzles, too. I am hoping a new teacher or a teacher in a Title I school is ISO indoor-recess supplies. I can split into two batches if there are enough responders. OR…. if someone will recommend such a school that you know will accept them, I can deliver in NoVa. I’ll wait at least a week before picking a recipient, so make your case.

Small (9” - 10”) color CRT TV (Falls Church/Mclean area)
Withdrawn
Hi, we’re looking for a small—but not tiny—color CRT television for old-school video games in a dorm room. The 5” we tried was cute, but too small, and the 13” is bordering on too bulky to just pick up and stow while not in use. Way back in the day, this was a popular size tube-TV to put in kitchens or RVs. Is there one collecting dust in your basement or attic?

Men’s waist-wrap bath towel (Falls Church/Mclean area)
Gifted
It’s white “one size” and there’s Velcro to secure it around the waist to make a young (or older) man sorta presentable after his shower or bath. Was a gift to a college freshman who preferred a robe. Bag is open, but the towel has never been removed. I will wait a few days or until a few folks have responded. If have a college-move-in deadline, please let me know.

Request:
Mini Portable CRT TV (5”-9” screen) (Falls Church/Mclean area)
Withdrawn
I’m looking for a mini-TV analog — not a newer flat screens. We need it to be smaller than the typical small (13” diagonal screen) units, and it needs to have AV input jacks—those are round and usually white and yellow. Thank You in advance. I’m in the Falls Church/Mclean area, near Longfellow Middle School. I can see a group of dads at a barbecue huddled around one of these little battery-operated TVs.
