Sands about 30 in tall and easily handle 50lbs of stuff. Outside is flexible all parts work well to include the handle, zippers inside, zipper outside. Thing that shows its age are the two wheels where I have taken photos of the part of the plastic wheel that has come off. Other than the plastic on the wheel that has come off, the wheel mechanism is still in good shape though. I would love to keep it but wife does not.
