Free: Wood (Belper Town centre) We've replaced our sleeper edging step as it was starting to rot. There is a piece left (6ft length/3-4" depth) which is flaking, but some is okay underneath. If anyone is interested in salvaging what's usable or taking for firewood, let me know. It will need to be carried through two gates and up the side steps to the front (a dozen or so), but we can help if needed. PLEASE NOTE: this has been pressure-treated. Free: Wood sleeper (Belper Town centre) We've just replaced our sleeper edging step as it was starting to rot. There is a piece left of 6ft length/3-4" depth piece as it broke up on removal. Although some of it is flaking, much seems okay underneath. If anyone is interested in salvaging what's usable or taking for firewood, let me know. It will need to be carried through two gates and up the side steps to the front (a dozen or so), but we can help if needed. Free: Pond plants (Belper Town centre) Gifted Two pond plants. One is a Creeping Jenny (if I remember rightly) and the other is a Reed of some sort that has a grassy stem. Both bulk up and are easily propagated. Collection from Belper town centre. Please bring a waterproof bag/tub. They are in fresh aquatic compost and pond baskets but will need to go straight into water.

Free: Perennials (Belper Town centre) Gifted Perennials. Large clump of bronze grass (carex), some lemon balm, and blue geranium (Johnson's Blue), includinglots of roots. All spread very well, so would be good if you need to plant up a new border. They need collecting this weekend as I dug them up this afternoon and they're not in pots. Collection from Belper town centre. *PLEASE* bring your own bags/trugs as the only bags I had to hand were gravel bags which were split.
