concrete blocks (Castlelaw EH26)
About 50 concrete blocks, 44 x 21.5 x 21.5 cm. Unknown age and history, and variable quality, so not suitable for structural uses, but could be used to build garden wall or similar? Thare larger than a standard building block, quite heavy to lift, but one person can do it. Vehicle definitely needed for collection.

Wooden fireplace surround (Castlelaw EH26)

1930's dark wood stained fire surround with carved flower motif. Assumed to be original to the house, built in the 1930s. Overall size of the surround is 119.7 x 123.0 x 14.1 cm. The legs are 12 cm wide. The internal arch space is 94.3 w x 96.2 h. Has two built in metal wall attachments. We think the wood might be strippable, but no idea how well it would work. We think it would fit in the boot of a car with the seats down, but give it a quick measure!
