Request: Monochrome Laser Printer #2 (NorthYork - Yonge & Finch area) Last week I submitted a long post with the Subject: WANTED: Monochrome Laser Printer. I regret making it so long and complicated, as I see from the responses that it was misunderstood. So please let me state clearly what I need… I need a Monochrome Laser Printer. Any manufacturer or model is fine. Thank you very much.
Request: Monochrome Laser Printer (NorthYork - Yonge & Finch area) I have been having problems with my monochrome laser printer this past week and finally it stopped working today. It's a Brother, model L2360D - first released in 2014. I bought it directly from Brother - circa 2018, in a refurbished state. However the drum and toner were purchased not long ago -- in Nov and Dec/2024. I did an online chat session with their tech support and they have determined that the problem is with the printer itself, rather than with the Drum or the Toner Cartridge. They have offered a replacement for the printer - an HLL2460DW (also refurbished) for $167 (regular $250). It was first released circa 2023. Unfortunately this model is not compatible with my old drum and toner (models DR630 and TN660) which still have a lot of life to them. Therefore before purchasing another printer, I would like to ask whether anyone out there may have a compatible printer which they would like to gift away. According to GeminiAI, the Brother DR630 drum unit is compatible with a wide range of Brother monochrome (black and white) laser printers and all-in-one machines, primarily in the DCP-L25xx, HL-L23xx, and MFC-L27xx series. HL-L2300D HL-L2305W HL-L2315DW HL-L2320D HL-L2340DW HL-L2360DW HL-L2380DW MFC-L2680W MFC-L2685DW MFC-L2700DW MFC-L2705DW MFC-L2707DW MFC-L2720DW MFC-L2740DW DCP-L2520DW DCP-L2540DW That said, I would be interested in any monochrome laser printer, regardless of manufacturer and model. Thank you very much.
Free: Split-Rail_Fencing (NorthYork - Yonge & Finch area) Gifted Split-Rail_Fencing is a type of fence made out of timber logs, usually split lengthwise into rails. It is typically used for agricultural or decorative fencing. See this Wiki article Also see this video and go to the 1:55 minute mark Back in the 1960s my father bought approx. 20 Split Rails from a farmer and used it as a fence around his suburban backyard. Everyone commented on how nice it was. However in the 1980's they had to be removed when the surrounding neighbors wanted to put in metal fences. Anyways I have three rails left for give-away. Each one is approx. 11.5 ft long. See pictures. It's not enough to fence in a backyard, but it can be used for a small garden. I've seen some people do this. Porch pickup, anytime

Request: USB Stick Drives (aka Flash Drives) (NorthYork - Yonge & Finch area) Expired I need several old USB Stick Drives (aka Flash Drives). I checked some online stores and see the following configurations for USB3.0 flash drives: (1) 64GB (2) 128GB (3) 256GB I am not too hung up on size. Even less than 1GB will serve my purposes. Thank you.
Free: Humidifier (NorthYork - Yonge & Finch area) Gifted Manufacturer: YissVic Capacity: 2 litres. It was purchased from Amazon approx 4 years ago. It worked nicely for about two years. Now the steam no longer shoots up through the pipe, so the steam doesn't get distributed very far. However if you run it without the lid, the steam does rise and gets distributed. I think that the problem is mechanical rather than electrical. Something to do with the pipe. The element that causes the water to percolate seems to be working fine. You can see a video of it on my GoogleDrive
