Free: Acer Aspire 7730 17” laptop (Leicester LE2 Aylestone) Gifted Acer Aspire with 4 Gb RAM. Works OK though I have removed the hard disk for security. It was running Windows 10 Pro with a bit of a mod to the hardware checker. OK for internet access if you can provide your own hard disk and Operating System. The screen is good, it has a newish keyboard and is complete with Power Supply. I do not know condition of battery.

Free: Bosch Tassimo machine (Leicester LE2 Aylestone) Gifted Hi all, Bosch Tassimo coffee pod machine. It powers on, will run through a ‘cleaning disk’ cycle, heats the water but has something about the pressure as it won’t fill a cup. It may just need a descale throughout as we’re in a hard water area. All cleaned and ready to go. As with all electrical gifts, please do not dismantle if unless you are technically competent and follow all safety guidelines. Please say when you can collect and as usual I will leave it for a couple of days to make sure that everybody gets a chance to see the ad. Free: 12” laptop less hard disk (Leicester LE2 Aylestone) Gifted Hi all, Old, but good condition, with power unit. Works OK but you may prefer a separate keyboard and mouse. HP TC4400. 2Gb RAM can be expanded. Hard disk has been removed for security. I ran Windows 10 Pro on it OK. Doesn’t have EUFI option so no good for Home Assistant server. Pick up only from near the cricket ground. Please say when you can collect, never after 7pm. Thank you for reading.

Free: Project electric monkey bike (Leicester LE2 Aylestone) Gifted Hi all, A challenge for anyone who’s capable of working through this. It’s a complete battery powered /electric monkey-bike. I can’t tell you anything about it other than it looks to be mechanically complete, apart from a saddle. The electrics will need a complete overhaul and at the very least a new battery, charger, control unit. I can’t even tell you about the motor but again that probably needs to be replaced. If you can get it working then it looks like a fun machine. I will remove the existing battery before gifting and dispose of it responsibly. There is no charger. If you ask for this then please confirm that you are qualified to work with this type of electrically powered machine. Safety first! If there are no replies then it’s tip-bound. Free: Bosch ASM32 lawn mower (Leicester LE2 Aylestone) Gifted Fully working, It’s been sat in the shed over winter so it probably needs sharpening. Free: One Security Light (Leicester LE2 Aylestone) Expired Hi all, Security floodlight. We’ve upgraded to LED as these use an odd halogen bulb. There are two lamps that can be directed independently. At the moment there are no bulbs so I cannot test it but I believe it does work. The design is for the light to detect motion and come on. If there is further movement then the light gets brighter. Search me how that works. Collection only from near the cricket ground.

Free: Sting of light bulbs (Leicester LE2 Aylestone) Gifted Everybody loves a string of lights, and why not? These are as new, for inside use only, and like all electrical items they should be tested and installed by a competent person / electrician. The integral plug has an inbuilt timer to switch them on and off for a preset period of time. You can see their effect in the photo. Note: These cannot be used outside. Free: Apple TV series 2 (Leicester LE2 Aylestone) Expired Hi all, Apple TV with HDMI connection. Requires Ethernet link to your Broadband, not WiFi. Request: Bt Powerline broadband plugs (Leicester LE2 Aylestone) Expired Hi, Does anyone have any of there broadband network extenders left over from a previous installation please? They are the type that have an integral (pass through) 240v socket so that the extender doesn’t take up a 13a socket. May be marked on the back as 1GByte capacity and v2. They usually come as a pair or trio. Can collect thank you
