We re-did the kitchen and eliminated this 33" long pendent light over the sink. It worked when we took it down so it should be good to go.

42" tall x 30" wide x 16" deep I wouldn't use it as a writing desk. The hinges on the front part that pulls down aren't heavy duty. It's great for storage and the drawers all work well.
