Holds heat but does leak a little to the outside from the drinking spout. The seal is good. Has tea stains which has gone after a regular soap wash, haven’t tried with any other natural products. Pet and smoke free home.

Cleaned yesterday for giving away, unfortunately the plastic cracked when I took it apart, but I have put tape on it after assembling and it’s hardly noticeable and doesn’t affect function (pictures of before and after taping attached). Has served us well but has lots of life left in it.

Convenient little thermometer in a box, good for travel or regular use. Its manual is in the box. I switched it on to check and it said lo, so I assume battery is low. It has been sitting in the cupboard for a long time. How to change battery - picture of the manual attached which states the type of battery.
