Tent/awning (City Centre NR1)
Expired
Khayam Motordome, blue. I bought this recently in used condition and it leaked. I treated it with Fabsil waterproofer afterwards but haven't been able to test if it's waterproof now. My problem is that it is big and heavy, takes a lot of space in my shed, and my garden is too small to put it up and dry it if I have to take it home wet. It needs lots of pegs, those supplied with it are flimsy and bend easily, so I've recycled them. A few guy ropes have been lost (they are available to buy, c.£4 in most outlets). If you are a strong young person with a big enough garden/shed/garage, this might be good for you. If you provide pegs I'm willing to go a short distance, say 5m radius of Norwich, to show you how it goes up. It can stand with only 4 pegs, but not advisable if it's windy. The divider cloth in the sleeping compartment is torn but it's an easy mend. Designed to attach to a van but can work as a standalone tent. Poles for the main frame are attached to the fabric and all seem to be in good condition. N.B. Was promised but taker realised it would be unsuitable for free standing on a patio, which was what they wanted, and kindly contacted me to let me know.

Megger insulation tester, incomplete. (City Centre NR1)
Gifted
Evershed & Vignoles 250v Megger. I had a use for it which involved removing the scale and connecting a high value resistor in series with the output. Now surplus to reqs. It is essentially a hand-operated a.c. generator. Someone into tech/electrical stuff may have a use for it. In good working order but the resistance scale isn't there any more. Size 15 x 10 x 6 cm. On the map there's a blue spot and a green house symbol. The house is in the right place.

PAT tester (City Centre NR1)

Seaward make. With all leads. I was given this by an electrician who says it's working, but it hasn't been calibrated recently for professional use. Norwich Repair Cafe has bought a new tester so this one is now redundant.

PAT tester (City Centre NR1)
Gifted
IRWIN Pat tester. This is about 40 years old and doesn't have a setting for smaller appliances - it sends a 25 amp current through the earth wire and measures the voltage. If this exceeds 2.5V the Earth Fault light comes on. It also applies a high voltage between conductors to test the insulation. It hasn't got a calibration certificate so you may wish to satisfy yourself that it's ok to use.

Khyam Motordome large tent/awning in used but fair condition. It's big and heavy and I'm now a bit long in the tooth to use it comfortably. A small amount of remedial work is needed, nothing technical, will explain in detail if you're interested in having it. Norwich near NCFC football ground.

Thermostat for air fryer (City Centre NR1)
Expired
Brand new. Bought this for our air fryer - sorry gone now so can't tell you make/model. Then the fryer was damaged beyond repair before I started work. These fryers seem to be identical, probably all made in the same factory. Thermostat is rated at 10 amps so will be suitable for any fryer up to 2.5 Kw. The fryers are fiddly to take apart but it can be done ! If your fryer won't turn off, the thermostat contacts have welded together, and this is the part you need. Norwich near NCFC football ground

UHF microphones (City Centre NR1)
Expired
Black Prosound make, each has 4 selectable UHF bands. I can't test them. However it seems v. unlikely that the fault is in the microphones, as the receiver doesn't pick up from either of them. I think Prosound is a badge of Maplins where I bought the system. They are no longer trading, and I have tried unsuccessfully to buy a used receiver online, so the mics. are no use to me. Someone could use them if they have the right receiver.

Wireless microphone system (City Centre NR1)
Gifted
Chord RU2 UHF system. NB this is a 2-channel system, but one channel doesn't work. There are 3 headset mics. but I can't test the transmitter for the faulty channel. The other 2, both for the working channel, worked ok last time I tried them. The belt pack transmitters each need 2 x AA batteries. Please note :it's not recommended to use 2 mics on the same channel, the radio signals tend to cancel each other out. Best to use just one and keep one as a spare.
