Free: SuperMicro XEON PC (Ross on Wye, HR9) This is a circa 2012 Intel XEON PC. Specs as follows: * Intel XEON E5-1620 CPU (LGA2011) @ 3.6GHz * 16BG DDR3 RAM * 240GB SATA SSD * nVidia Quadra K2000D 2GB GPU * Monitor * Microsoft keyboard and mouse Windows 10 has been freshly installed, but there's no product key, so it's not activated. Will not run Windows 11 (unless you know the tricks....) Would be ideal for office work - it's not a gaming computer.

Free: Sony Vaio VGN-FS415B Laptop (Ross on Wye, HR9) This is an old laptop - it won't run modern operating systems. Would be suited to a light-weight 32-bit Linux distribution or its original Windows XP (recovery disks included, but not 100% sure if they work). Does not contain a hard drive. Needs one of the older-style 44-pin parallel IDE drives (hard to get now), or a 44-pin IDE to SD card adapter (easy to get on eBay/amazon/ali-express etc). It's in really tidy condition.

Request: Ancient non-PC computers (Ross on Wye, HR9) I'm a collector of ancient computers. I'm always on the lookout for more to add to my collection. However my tastes are pretty specific. I am not looking for PC-style computers (windows, mac, etc). I'm on the lookout for older industrial computers. The big old systems that businesses used to use in the 60s to 90s. Things like SUN computers, Digital VAX, PDP, etc computers. SGI computers. Basically things like UNIX workstations, and very old servers. The kind that used to have dumb terminals on them. Speaking of dumb terminals, I'm always looking for those too, though they seem to be very hard to find now. Now I'm not expecting any of you to have anything sat tucked away in your garage gathering dust, but maybe you know someone that knows someone that might have something. Maybe you work with someone. Maybe you sing in a choir with someone. Maybe you play pickleball with someone. If you do I'd love them to get in touch.

Request: Old computers and computer parts (Ross on Wye, HR9) Received I'm always on the lookout for old computers and computer parts to add to my collection. The older the better. If you have some old piece of computer junk in your attic there's a good chance I might get excited over it.
