Free: Large envelopes, filing folders (Ann Arbor Northwest Side) Variety of big envelopes as for mailing or storage - used and unused, padded and unpadded. Mostly Manila envelopes, mostly full-page-sized, but some smaller. Also a stack of 100%-uncoated-paper folders as often used in filing cabinets. Mostly the tabs already have writing on them, but it’s mostly in erasable graphite pencil. Please specify what/how much you want (including all of them). From a home with fragrance-free/nontoxic practices, freely available to anyone.

Free: Blue 3-ring binder (Ann Arbor Northwest Side) 3-ring binder, metal rings aligned and secure. Outer part is blue (brighter turquoise than the photo shows) plastic, made to be somewhat floppy rather than rigid. From home with fragrance-free/nontoxic practices, freely available to anyone.

Free: Digital watch (works, broken band) (Ann Arbor Northwest Side) Black-plastic-and-metal Marathon water-resistant wristwatch with broken wristband. “Old-fashioned” in that it doesn’t connect to other devices (bonus: no surprise collection of personal data!). “New-fangled” in that it’s digital, shows day and date as well as time to the second, and has multiple settings. Watch part itself is sturdy, and still works great. As shown in the photos, unsuccessful attempts have been made to repair the wristband. If you just want the broken-off end with the metal clasp for some kind of project, that’s also possible. From a home with fragrance-free/nontoxic practices, freely available to anyone.

Approx.: 12” long, 5” wide, 3/4” thick. Made for holding things like pencils, desk supplies USB sticks, cell phones, chargers, etc., but could have any number of uses. From home with fragrance-free/nontoxic practices, freely available to anyone.

Free: Thread scraps (Ann Arbor Northwest Side) Thread/string scraps, various colors (including white, though that’s not so clear in the picture). Not sure of materials. From home with nontoxic/fragrance-free practices; freely available to anyone. Would be great if someone wanted all, but please still reach out if you only want part of these!

Free: Denim jacket (Ann Arbor Northwest Side) Ripped and faded jean-jacket, found/salvaged and thoroughly cleaned. Still stylish in an edgy/punk way (also great for something to add political patches to, if you’re into that). No tag, but probably cotton denim and adult small or medium. Real-metal riveted buttons. Totally fragrance-free/nontoxic (priority to same, but feel free to reach out regardless!).

Free: Cut-off cotton T-shirts/screenprint (Ann Arbor Northwest Side) First-come-first-serve for any cut-out screenprints alone; priority to those who need very-low-fragrance/-toxin for full (cut-off) T-shirts. All of them have 100% cotton fabric, but screenprints, tags, and maybe thread unfortunately aren’t ultimately compostable. If anyone wants just the screenprinted part(s), I can cut those out whatever size/shape you’d like! Or take entire T-shirt(s). More details available about any of them, including nontoxic info. These came from a thrift store c. 2018, so they may have residues from that, but are MUCH better than conventional laundry products now! (Sorry some are potentially offensive, they were chosen for a craft project just based on color.) - red cut-off cotton T-shirt with screenprint of blue word “Sharks” (probably adult size large or extra-large) - orange cut-off cotton T-shirt with screenprint of large capital letters with pictures in them (adult size large) - kelly green cut-off cotton T-shirt with screenprint of letters (adult size small) - deep blue cut-off cotton T-shirt with screenprint of letters & motorcycles (adult size medium) - dusky extremely-blue cut-off cotton T-shirt with screenprint of letters & blurry picture (adult size medium) - pink extremely-cut-off cotton T-shirt with screenprint of smiley faces (one playing tennis) and small letters (adult size extra-large) - various screenprint scraps (letters/phrases, leprechauns & shamrocks, motorcycles, etc.) (Separately, have polyester/cotton-blend shirts available for those who want something to wear while using messy non-compostable materials, like most paints.)

Free: Fragrance-free cotton shirts (Ann Arbor Northwest Side) First-come-first-serve for any cut-out screenprints alone; priority to those who need fragrance-free/nontoxic for full T-shirts. - 1 blue tie-dye T-shirt, with screenprint of the moon-phases - 2 union T-shirts: 1 orange, with screenprint of this area’s BAC (Bricklayers and Allied Craftsworkers) Local 9; and 1 red (union-made), with screenprint of Chicago Teachers’ Union - 1 brown T-shirt with “Prevent Wildfires” screenprint - 1 beige kid’s T-shirt with screenprint of wild animals and “Celebrate Earth Day” - 1 white T-shirt with screenprint of Growing Allies (a past local anti-oppression event) logo & motto on front and Martin Luther King, Jr. on back - 1 gray-and-white-striped T-shirt with screenprint of band Aye Nako with goofy/racy gay art - 2 old worn T-shirts from Comstock (music festival of local Community High School): 1 orange from 2003 with screenprint of fortune cookie; and 1 golden-yellow from 2004 with screenprint of rising sun (Separately, have polyester/cotton-blend shirts available for those who want something to work in while using messy non-compostable materials, like most paints.)

Free: Nontoxic cotton/polyester shirts (Ann Arbor Northwest Side) Any or all of these 3 shirts are free to anyone, with priority to those who need fragrance-free/nontoxic. (Note end for related info.) You can wear them as intended, make them into bags, use them for other projects. The photos make them look more hopelessly wrinkled than they are, and the green shirt looks more blue, but hopefully this can give a rough idea! They are all labeled “Adult small” but the T-shirts especially have fit larger. Contactless porch pick-up. Please indicate day and 30-minute time range (preferably July 2-6) that you could collect in. - 1 beige-and-light-blue three-quarter-length-sleeve shirt with picture of pandas under a rainbow that says underneath and on one sleeve “Washington, D.C.” ~50 years old, very soft and thin, 50% cotton/50% polyester. - 1 forest-green (not blue-green like it appears in the photo) T-shirt with white screen-printed design of a human holding a crescent moon that says underneath “Take Back the Night, Ann Arbor, 2005” (Take Back the Night is a traditional anti-rape event.) ~20 years old, relatively sturdy, 50% cotton/50% polyester. - 1 “heather”/“brindle” gray T-shirt with red-with-blue-accents screen-printed design of all-gender symbol that says inside “Transgender Michigan”. (This is both the name of an organization and indicates general support for the transgender population here.) ~15 years old (screen-printed on used shirt), soft and thin with a several small tears, 90% cotton/10% polyester. Since they’re cotton/polyester blends, unfortunately they are neither compostable nor recyclable, as is also true for any screen-printed clothes. Getting used items is still more eco-friendly than any new, but for those wanting to avoid microplastic pollution that comes from synthetic fabrics (like polyester, nylon, spandex, etc.), they can be gently hand-washed and line-dried, and/or worn over other clothes to require less washing. Wrinkles can be removed even without washing by hanging in a steamy room or spraying with diluted vinegar, or by ironing on a low-to-medium setting with any screen-printing folded inside. Only washed in hypoallergenic nontoxic eco-friendly soap/detergent, without dryer sheets, for decades. Kept free from contamination by fragrance and smoking/vaping, in a home that has long followed nontoxic practices and is completely synthetic-fragrance-free, and has not adopted new cats or dogs since the last nonhuman resident about six years ago. Please feel free to reach out with questions!

Free: A-frame tent (Ann Arbor Northwest Side) Gifted Functional, but does smell musty. Decades old, so it's made from less toxic materials than most modern tents, but that does mean some things need to be handled more carefully (like the zipper for the screen). Has a piece of plastic that fits underneath it as a vapor barrier, also included. Priority to anyone who can pick up today, but if you can't and are interested, please still reach out!

Request: Metal travel tumbler/coffee mug (Ann Arbor Northwest Side) Received Hoping someone has one of these around they're not using! Prefer a screw-on lid and no handle, and maybe around 20oz. or so if possible (trying to avoid something too large/bulky). I don't care what color it is or if it's beat up on the outside. Thank you for your consideration!

Request: Car rooftop cargo box (Ann Arbor Northwest Side) Received Hoping to find a hard-shell rooftop cargo box to help with moving a friend cross-country. I just discovered that the one I picked up last year from the side of the road last year leaks water into the storage compartment, and that won't work for what I'm transporting. Open to whatever brand and color, but seeking the rigid containter style and not a bag. Thanks for your considerstion!
