Free: Never-opened zip-seal plastic bags (Ann Arbor Northwest Side) 15 bags completely sealed shut in addition to the zip-seal; need to be cut-or-torn open to access inside, so guaranteed unused and completely clean inside. (If you don’t need that, I have plenty of used bags you can choose from!) Sturdier plastic than most plastic bags. Stacked together all 15 are less than 1” thick. Each bag takes up less than 12”x7” of space; inner bag accommodates approx. 10”x6”. As photo shows, some yellowing has occurred, but they’re clean! Please specify if you want less than the total 15.

Free: Non-toxic ice packs (Ann Arbor Northwest Side) Nutri-Ice (pictured) and Enviro-Ice packs, multiple of each, please specify how many you want. Each about 6”x5.5”. If they ever get damaged, instead of having to deal with toxic goo, the inner part can be used as plant food! The outer layer is #4 plastic, so recyclable (inasmuch as any plastic is truly recyclable, but still way better than most ice packs). It says not to use them on your body, but honestly I’ve done that with no problems. Keep in mind that since it’s not the toxic-goo kind of ice pack, it does actually freeze fully. So if you do, take the precautions needed with real ice: be sure to wrap the pack in a towel and move it often enough to avoid frostbite. Obtained these being mailed organic food, so they have impressive staying power. Contactless porch pick-up.

Free: Vans slip-on shoes (M6/W7.5) (Ann Arbor Northwest Side) Vans “Off the Wall” slip-on canvas shoes, with classic black-and-white check pattern. Unisex, size “Men US 6 / Women US 7.5” Got these thrifted in the first place, but still fragrance-free. They’re in about the same condition as then: some fading/inner staining, but very little wear and tear. Contactless porch pick-up. It’s adjustable with a pretty wide range of motion, but I haven’t been able to get it to work quite right with my guitar. Maybe someone else will have better luck! Free: Guitar strap (Ann Arbor Northwest Side) Black synthetic strap for going over your shoulder to hold a guitar close to you. Makes it easier to play, especially standing. Keyhole openings at each end to attach to knobs on the top and bottom of a guitar’s body. Should work for acoustic or electric. Such knobs can be attached to a wood-bodied guitar if it doesn’t already have them. Some wear. Adjustable length.

Free: Natural seed pods (Ann Arbor Northwest Side) Expired Used these decoratively and for sensory enjoyment. Can be used as rattles, for nature education, and in any compostable craft project. Seeds inside may also still be viable. I believe these are from a native species of honey-locust tree, so no need to worry about spreading invasive species. The seeds inside tend to last even longer than the outer pods, look like adzuki beans (smallish and brown), and can also be used for eco-friendly crafts or decoration. No worries if no one wants these (you can probably even collect your own), but figured to offer before mulching them! If you notice a tiny bit of fuzz in the photo, it’s just from them being close to milkweed fluff. From a home with fragrance-free/nontoxic practices, freely available to anyone.

Free: Compostable produce baskets (Ann Arbor Northwest Side) Expired Paper-pulp vented containers, great for holding even fragile produce like berries or tomatoes - also for crafts, drawer organizers, holding plants/seedlings with tight-packed soil, etc. As the photo shows, even the different sizes stack nicely. Some have slight staining. If in the future any gets too damaged to use, it can be torn up for mulch, or composted in backyard or city bin. Take as many as you like (including all). Free: Digital watch (works, broken band) (Ann Arbor Northwest Side) Expired Black-plastic-and-metal Marathon water-resistant wristwatch with broken wristband. “Old-fashioned” in that it doesn’t connect to other devices (bonus: no surprise collection of personal data!). “New-fangled” in that it’s digital, shows day and date as well as time to the second, and has multiple settings. Watch part itself is sturdy, and still works great. As shown in the photos, unsuccessful attempts have been made to repair the wristband.
