Items for foster/adoptive kids (Ann Arbor Northwest Side)
These are natural-fiber and non-toxic infant and toddler clothes, as well as various items required in the state of Michigan if fostering kids (outlet covers, fire escape, safety gate). Also have cotton flannel crib sheets and cotton crib quilt. Our hope is to get all of these to the same household in order to help support foster kids and foster parents (or adoptive parents!), but may be willing to split up items if needed. Have more items than are pictured, and happy to share the photos that couldn't fit here upon request! I will wait at least 24 hours before responding to any messages. Charges with a micro USB charger (charger also not included). As shown in photos, the outer cover of both the ear cups and the adjustable band is peeling/flaking. My phone just completely gave out after 8 good years of service. It was sudden and unexpected, so I'm quickly trying to figure out a solution. I use my phone for my volunteer support work and completing caregiving tasks, and am seeking a speedy solution. If anyone has an Android smartphone laying around that they'd be willing to part with, I'd be very grateful for the opportunity to try it out. Mostly cotton, main materials are vegan and compostable. As with most modern textiles, there may be synthetic threads, seam linings, etc. and some have plastic buttons. Some have had their synthetic tags removed (but apologies, this can make sizing tricky). These came from thrift stores that used conventional detergents; please let us know if you are in need of low-toxin compostable textiles, as we are organizing those as well. Assortment of kid's and adult clothing, towels of various sizes, and sheets/bed linens. Have been in storage and all need washed before using (our washer doesn't work so we can't help with that, sorry!). You're welcome to arrange a time to come by and "browse" through what you can use.
