Free: Milk chocolate / soft toffee (Hintonburg) Gifted I have a friend that says chocolate never expires. If you share that philosophy, you’re welcome to these milk mint flavoured chocolates best before August 31, 2023. They are unopened. The toffee was opened, but they are individually wrapped. They’re described as soft, but I found them too hard on my teeth. Best before July 15, 2027.

Free: Queen size quilt (Hintonburg) Gifted Queen size medium weight quilt. There are small holes that need mending. (One on the top and several on the underside—see photos). Also, the dye has faded in some places (also see photo).

Free: 4 large towels (Hintonburg) Gifted There are two identical bath towels with the name Ramsay on them that are in good condition but have some pulls in them. (See first photo). The other two towels are very large and have small acorn stains on them. It may or may not be possible to remove the stains.

Free: Plastic dish w/ compartments (Hintonburg) Expired 3 compartments. dinner plate size. Could be used for food or to store small items. Microwavable. Cover is cracked (see photo) and could possibly be repaired or just use dish without cover since the cover doesn’t go in the microwave anyhow.

Free: Sink insert to drain pots etc (Hintonburg) Gifted Metal sink insert. Measures 15.5 inches front to back & 17.25 inches side to side. Got it from a Trash Nothing buddy but it's too big for my sink so I'm re-posting.

Free: Sleeping bag (Hintonburg) Gifted Chocolate brown with green plaid on the underside. Zipper needs fixing, and the seam is undone in a couple of places along the sides (see photo). Maybe a quilter would like to repurpose it. Or you can mend the sides and just use it as a blanket. Was laundered recently, but an airing wouldn’t hurt it.

Free: Girl or women’s top (Hintonburg) Expired Cream coloured top by Joe Fresh . Tag says extra large, but looks more like a medium. Mix of rayon, polyester and nylon. Don’t know if it’s a girl’s top or women’s. Has lots of pills on it, but looks comfy and warm.

Free: comforter (Hintonburg) Gifted Queen size comforter. Includes zipper and snaps so it can be worn while reading or watching TV but can also be used the usual way on a bed. Made in Canada. Two small holes on the underside.

Free: Unopened Indian bay leaves (Hintonburg) Gifted Bought these bay leaves by mistake, not realizing they weren’t the regular kind. If you’re not familiar with them, check out for helpful information. They are used in Indian and south east Asian cooking.

Free: Wool blanket with holes (Hintonburg) Gifted Virgin wool blanket. A couple of large holes and a small stain. Also the cotton border is ratty, but could be cut off. Hoping someone can repurpose it if no one wants it on their bed. Decades old but has been laundered.

Free: unopened pain remedies (Hintonburg) Expired Helping a friend clear out his medicine cabinet…. These pain remedies are old but, in my experience, they seem to last forever. All of them are still sealed. Expiry dates are shown in brackets. Rub A535 ice spray (2016) Rub A535 extra strength cream (2014) Deep relief ice cold spray (2016) Take some or all.
