This is the first generation. Actually, I got it in beta testing. Works great. Have accessories and charcoal replacement set too. I can compost in my yard now and in Kingston organics program so I don't use it anymore. It does take up some space so it's not great for tiny kitchens.

I bought this 30 years ago at a thrift store and used it as a backup “fun” phone in my office for awhile. It doesn’t ring, which, from what I understand, is due to the phone technology now. But hooked to a landline, will dial out. You will also need an adapter. Hoping to give this to a someone who will actually use it rather than just sell it on ebay. The verizon technician who got this to work was completely intrigued by getting it to work. Hoping someone like him will take this.
