Lichfield Valencia 4 person tent (Bartley Green B32)
A friend of mine gave me this tent to dispose of . It's probably about 20 years old so I put it up to see what condition it was in. Helpfully there was a manual but I still wasn't sure about which poles went where so I've labelled the posts to help you. I put the outer tent over the poles but didn't peg it out. Lots of pegs in the peg bag. It's 4m wide and 2.2m deep. It's 2m high in the middle going down to 1.7m at the sides. The inner tent has a screen across the middle. This is the one bit that wasn't in great nick but it might still do the job. The inner tent has a built in groundsheet. It probably takes longer to put up than many of the more modern tents but if you fancy a bargain contact me.

6 person tent (Bartley Green B32)
Gifted
A friend asked me to dispose of his tent . It hasn't been used for a while so needs a clean. There aren't any pegs so I couldn't put it up so the photos just show the key components. The groundsheet measures 4m x 2.4m and the inner tent has 2 doors and a screen down the middle. The outer tent has 2 corresponding doorways and a window on the opposite side. There are vents at both ends. I think it's a tunnel tent. It has 8 legs and each pair are connected to a crossbar.

I recently came into possession of this game. Some of the blocks were written on, so I sanded the writing off and checked that the tower still stood proud. Launchpad for cola bottles (Bartley Green)
Expired
Have you ever put some mentos in a bottle of Coca-Cola and stood back as the liquid shoots out? I made these launchpads to hold the bottles in place so they didn't topple over. The launchpad come with tubes to feed the mentos into the bottle quickly. So get yourself some Coca-Cola (diet works best) and mentos and see how high the liquid goes.

Box of leads (Bartley Green)
Gifted
I've accumulated a lot of leads over the last few years, many of which I don't use any more. So I thought I'd give them away rather than chuck them. There's quite a mix. USB, phone, scart, plus some useful connectors. Hopefully there's something you can use or maybe you just collect leads.

No I am not giving away a car. I wrote if off last year anyhow. But just before I did I bought some paint to cover some scratches. I have a bit left as you can see in the photo and if you have the same colour car and need to cover some scratches there might be enough left for you to do it. Comes without a brush.

A bit of Birmingham history (Bartley Green)
Expired
Just discovered these old newspapers that document some of Birmingham's history. First one is about life in Victorian Birmingham. Trains arrived in Brum almost as the same time as Victoria's accession. What were trains and stations like then. See some of the amazing Victorian buildings that have been destroyed. What were schools like in 1830s? And much more. Lots of photos, mostly in black and white. Second one is about national and local changes in the 1950s and 60s. Third one is in 2 parts. It looks back on 1969 using front pages from the Birmingham Post throughout the year. Last one takes a similar approach to 1963.
