This is a repeated offer because the person who was scheduled to collect them cannot do so for the time being. The following plants are spare: 1). Globe artichoke roots, variety 'Bere' (Cynara scolymus) Likes sun. 2). Solomon's seal roots (Polygonatum odoratum) Likes shade. Both were dug up a few days ago and could do with collection ASAP.

Broken purple or green slates - Lyonshall

I can use some of either colour. It's needed to complete some garden paths that were built from broken slate left over after this house was roofed. Note: I already have enough grey (sometimes called 'blue') slate, thanks.

Blackcurrant bushes - Lyonshall

They're of two varieties: Boskoop Giant Laxtons Giant. I'm reducing the number of blackcurrant bushes and increasing the number of gooseberry bushes. As a result some blackcurrant bushes are now surplus. Not dug up yet but to go ASAP.

About four altogether. There may be a few more depending on developments with a couple of others that people wanted. Also, if you divide a blackcurrant bush you get . two or three bushes. The varieties are Boskoop Giant and Laxton's Giant. They're in fine condition but I'm slowly replacing most of the blackcurrants by gooseberries. Thanks.

20-25 litre plastic buckets
Expired
I have some rectangular red plastic buckets with plastic handles, also round white plastic buckets with metal handles. Both mostly came from farmers who got animal feed delivered in these containers. They're very useful but they slowly get broken. If anyone on this forum has empty ones lying around, then many thanks.

Any size and colour as long as there are quite a few of the same dimensions. The units are often 100 x 200 x 50 mm (or maybe 40 or 30 mm) high. They're often left over from a paving job because a full pallet was ordered. Picture here of what they normally look like: ck-paving-200x100mm except that they're more often buff or red. Thanks in advance.

Two-storey tower scaffold - Lyonshall
Expired
This is re-offered because of a misunderstanding with the first potential collector. To clarify, the tower extends to the top of the first floor windows. There is a working platform just above that and two safety railings either side. The top platform is made of six half-length scaffold boards. For safety, these boards would need replacement. Whoever collects would be asked to dismantle it. I can help carry items on the ground but I'm no longer any good at heights. The four diagonal braces are about 7 ft. long. Once it's taken apart, the other pieces are all about 5 ft. by 2 ft. by 15/8 ins. [i.e. the tube thickness]. The joints are tube-in-tube. Because it's 'flat pack' the pieces ought to fit into a small trailer or a medium to large hatchback or estate car.

Two-storey scaffold tower - Lyonshall
Gifted
Two storey height. It is being removed because no work is planned here for the time being. As all the individual pieces are simple in shape, it basically 'packs flat'. It should fit in a small trailer or a medium-sized hatchback or estate car. There are six half-length wooden boards, giving a safe working platform at the top. However, these boards have been in use for some time and will need replacement.

Honeysuckle plants - Lyonshall
Expired
I was given a plant of this and now have several to give away. It roots if it touches the ground and so should be an easy way to cover a bank in flowers in late summer/autumn. Nearly evergreen. Scented flowers roughly July to late October. Similar in colour to the European honeysuckle but it may be related to the American honeysuckle.
