Leftover timber from our workshop build. Most of this was salvaged from skips & building sites in the SM4 area where houses are around 100 years old. Some lovely chunky timbers but not the straightest lengths. Still perfectly useable for many projects, or could be used as firewood. A few lengths of approx 1m, but most are 2-2.4m. Collection from SM3 9QG.

I doubt these will be any use to anyone, but thought I’d offer before they go to the tip. They are internal doors but were left outside for a few days & got wet. Some of the joints are swollen. Each door is 27” wide x 78” tall. Collection asap from SM3 9QG.

100x Wooden slats of old pine (Sutton SM3)

These have been ripped down from old 4x2 timbers salvaged from skips. My plan was to make a slat wall for my balcony but that’s no longer going ahead. Might be useful to someone. Even as kindling for a log burner? Approximately 100 slats. Lengths vary from about 2m - 2.5m. Some have been planed on 4 sides, some haven’t. Collection from SM3 9QG asap before it all goes to the tip.

Wooden rocking chair PROJECT (Morden SM4)

We got this second hand a year ago when we had a baby but now it’s time to pass it on. There are no cushions. The wooden frame has separated at the join but we have it secured with a cable tie & it’s been fine like that all year. If we were keeping it I would have fitted a brass mending plate on either side. The right arm was also loose & this has been screwed back together. Collection from SM4 4AG or local delivery possible as we want it gone asap.

We hardly ever use this so time to find it a new home if possible. It’s been hung on the wall behind the kitchen door for nearly 20 years so it needs a good clean. Very solid though & great to iron on. It is nearly 6ft long when folded.

Once upon a time this would have been a beautiful piece of furniture. But the years have not been kind. The veneer needs repairs in a few places. Needs to be sanded & treated. Handles need replacing. A section of worktop was previously screwed to the top so there are holes all over. The last photo shows what it could look like. If anyone wants it for free please collect from SM3 9QG. Otherwise it goes to the tip on Monday.
