Free: Treadle sewing machine (High Newton LA11) Gifted Very old Singer treadle sewing machine and table. I'm afraid it is all in bits and very scruffy but I think most of it is there. A good restoration job for someone with time to spare.

Free: Scroll saw (High Newton LA11) Gifted Scroll saw which I believe is used for metal work. The plate thing is a bit rusty but hopefully would polish up. Doesn't have any blades.

Free: Foxglove and camomile plants (High Newton LA11) Gifted My greenhouse is full of very healthy self-seeded foxglove and chamomile plants - seems a shame to put them all in the bin. Have many more than in the photo.

Free: Compost bin (High Newton LA11) Gifted Small compost bin about 30 inches square at the base, slightly narrower at the top. Very easy to take apart and put back together. Hinge on lid is broken and has a small hole in the bottom where a mouse has nibbled a way in (or out). Works well but is surplus to requirements.

Free: Glass tank (High Newton LA11) Expired Glass tank, presumably for fish. 610mm wide, 580mm high, 410mm deep. Presumably toughened glass, very heavy. Don't know how well it holds water and needs a good clean.

Free: Underlay for carpet (High Newton LA11) Expired 2 rolls of underlay, 4ft wide and about 10ft long, quite old but in reasonable condition.

Free: Carpet (High Newton LA11) Expired Wool carpet about 10ft x 11ft. A bit faded and a few stains but otherwise in good condition. Originally used in a sunny, child's bedroom.

Free: Green velveteen upholstery fabric (High Newton LA11) Gifted 2 pieces that once covered a settee. One is approx 130mmx130mm and the other is 118mmx130mm. The smaller piece is in excellent condition whilst the bigger one (shown) is a bit flattened in places but still usable.

Free: Compost bin (High Newton LA11) Expired Green plastic compost bin measuring 30 x 30 x 32 inches, 76 x 76 x 82 cm approximately. Sturdy construction and easy to put together and dismantle. The lid no longer hinges but a brick or stone on top should keep it in place. There is also a small hole near the bottom of one side (see picture) where some small animal has nibbled through!

Free: Blackcurrant bushes (High Newton LA11) Gifted Young blackcurrant bushes with good root systems. Will probably fruit straight away.

Free: Wire fencing (High Newton LA11) Gifted Several lengths of wire fencing about 4ft high. The spacing of the holes is good enough to keep dogs or chickens in (or out) but not rabbits. Quite long pieces, they were originally around a field. Good condition.

Free: Tomato seedlings (High Newton LA11) Gifted Have potted up as many plants as I need and these are going spare and are sturdy and healthy, The tallest are 5-6 inches high - about half a dozen - and plenty more smaller ones. Gardener's Delight variety. If I can't find them a home they will have to be thrown away.

Free: Bathroom wall light (High Newton LA11) Expired Bathroom wall light with pull cord and shaver point. Good condition. Measures 16.5" x 3" x 2.5".

Free: Bathroom Cabinet (High Newton LA11) Expired White bathroom cabinet with mirror door and chrome knob. Inside is one adjustable shelf. Mirror discoloured along top edge but otherwise in good condition. 11" x 18" x 5.5".

Free: Curtains (High Newton LA11) Gifted 2 pairs of cotton curtains with very pretty snowdrop pattern. Size 80cm x 98cm and 85cm x 123cm. The linings are rotten but the main fabric still seems fine.
