Free: Compost bin (High Newton LA11) Small compost bin about 30 inches square at the base, slightly narrower at the top. Very easy to take apart and put back together. Hinge on lid is broken and has a small hole in the bottom where a mouse has nibbled a way in (or out). Works well but is surplus to requirements.

Free: Glass tank (High Newton LA11) Promised Glass tank, presumably for fish. 610mm wide, 580mm high, 410mm deep. Presumably toughened glass, very heavy. Don't know how well it holds water and needs a good clean.

Free: Underlay for carpet (High Newton LA11) Promised 2 rolls of underlay, 4ft wide and about 10ft long, quite old but in reasonable condition.

Free: Carpet (High Newton LA11) Promised Wool carpet about 10ft x 11ft. A bit faded and a few stains but otherwise in good condition. Originally used in a sunny, child's bedroom.

Free: Green velveteen upholstery fabric (High Newton LA11) Gifted 2 pieces that once covered a settee. One is approx 130mmx130mm and the other is 118mmx130mm. The smaller piece is in excellent condition whilst the bigger one (shown) is a bit flattened in places but still usable.

Free: Compost bin (High Newton LA11) Expired Green plastic compost bin measuring 30 x 30 x 32 inches, 76 x 76 x 82 cm approximately. Sturdy construction and easy to put together and dismantle. The lid no longer hinges but a brick or stone on top should keep it in place. There is also a small hole near the bottom of one side (see picture) where some small animal has nibbled through!

Free: Blackcurrant bushes (High Newton LA11) Gifted Young blackcurrant bushes with good root systems. Will probably fruit straight away.

Free: Wire fencing (High Newton LA11) Gifted Several lengths of wire fencing about 4ft high. The spacing of the holes is good enough to keep dogs or chickens in (or out) but not rabbits. Quite long pieces, they were originally around a field. Good condition.

Free: Tomato seedlings (High Newton LA11) Gifted Have potted up as many plants as I need and these are going spare and are sturdy and healthy, The tallest are 5-6 inches high - about half a dozen - and plenty more smaller ones. Gardener's Delight variety. If I can't find them a home they will have to be thrown away.

Free: Bath mixer tap with shower (High Newton LA11) Expired Bath mixer tap with shower. Unfortunately the actual shower head is missing but everything else is in good condition.

Free: Bathroom wall light (High Newton LA11) Expired Bathroom wall light with pull cord and shaver point. Good condition. Measures 16.5" x 3" x 2.5".

Free: Bathroom Cabinet (High Newton LA11) Expired White bathroom cabinet with mirror door and chrome knob. Inside is one adjustable shelf. Mirror discoloured along top edge but otherwise in good condition. 11" x 18" x 5.5".

Free: Child's desk (High Newton LA11) Expired Child's desk with lift-up lid. Quite tall so requires adult height chair. Nicely made.

Free: Jam jars (High Newton LA11) Expired Jam jars, about a dozen with lids. Anyone for jam-making?

Free: Cot (High Newton LA11) Gifted Cot with drop side. Old but still serviceable. There is also a mattress with wipe-clean surface.

Free: Bike (High Newton LA11) Gifted Adult sized bike. Has thick tyres suitable for off-road or pump track. Reasonable condition but obviously needs tyres pumping up. Last ridden last summer.

Free: Bike carrier for car (High Newton LA11) Gifted Bike carrier for car, slightly rusty in places.

Free: Curtains (High Newton LA11) Gifted 2 pairs of cotton curtains with very pretty snowdrop pattern. Size 80cm x 98cm and 85cm x 123cm. The linings are rotten but the main fabric still seems fine.

Free: Basin taps (High Newton LA11) Gifted Chrome taps for bathroom basin. Good condition.

Free: Suitcase (High Newton LA11) Gifted Suitcase, 28 x 21 x 7inches. Reasonable condition, a bit scuffed on the outside and the clasps are slightly rusty. Blue. Key missing.

Free: Anglepoise-type lamp (High Newton LA11) Gifted Adjustable-angle lamp suitable for clamping to a desk or in a workshop. Reasonable condition - there's a few chips in the enamel of the actual lamp and 2 of the 4 springs are a bit rusty - but it is in good working order. Unfortunately it hasn't got the clamp that attaches it to the table but I'm sure someone with a bit of ingenuity could sort that. Please note, the photo taken in the workshop isn't the one looking for a home - I just wanted to show how it could look.

Free: Old bedding (High Newton LA11) Expired Assortment of old duvet covers, sheets and pillow cases. Not smart. Suitable for use as dust covers, car protectors etc. Can deliver.
