Request: Old Solar Components (Bellevue EH7) Hello, I'm hoping to learn and make use of solar energy at home, and eventually in a camper. If anyone has an old solar set-up, or any parts of one such as a panel, battery charger, inverter, fusebox, cabling and any batteries they would be put to really good use. Request: Plastic Sheet / Polytunnel Covering (Bellevue EH7) I'd like to find some clear, thick plastic sheeting for use in a garden as covering for a very small polytunnel/greenhouse. It's about 2m sq. at the base and 2m high. If anyone has the end of a roll, or some that's been used and is in a reasonable condition - I think that might be plenty to finish off the project. Request: A Li-On Battery (24 - 48v) (Bellevue EH7) Hello, I would like to repurpose/recycle an unwanted 24, 36 or 48 volt lawnmower type battery to fix up an old electric scooter. If anyone has a working one and it's charger, maybe from an old or broken lawnmower it would be put to good use. I have a bicycle so can't offer to take the lawnmower too, sorry. Some batteries can be a bit dangerous if they've been left uncharged for some time. So, I'm looking for one that has been used fairly recently. Many thanks.

Request: 16/13amp Cable (Bellevue EH7) Withdrawn Hello, I'm building a small workshop by my lower-ground flat. I would like to find 30m of 16 or even 13amp cabling to reach the space from the fuse box in the flat. The cable doesn't need to have 'commando' (waterproof socket ends) or it could perhaps just be the end of a drum of more conventional gray oval cable. It does need to be 30m however to avoid any joins. Many thanks in advance if you can help with this.

Request: Calor Gas Regulator (Butane) & Calor Gas bottle (Bellevue EH7) Withdrawn Hello, I'm hoping to convert a dual burner camping stove to Calor Gas. For this a Calor Gas regulator and 15kg, 7kg or 4.5kg Calor Gas bottle are required, (empty/part filled, not full, as I will need to transport them with a bicycle). The stove is a Campingaz, 'Camping Chef' which currently takes Campingaz 904/907 bottles, which would also be very useful at the moment. Many thanks to anyone who has these items spare.

Request: Old (ish) Hand Tools (Bellevue EH7) Expired Hello, I am hoping to find and use some older (working condition) hand tools, not as antique as the ones pictured - possibly ones from the 1960/70/80's. If anyone has some spare or perhaps gathering dust in a shed - I could use tools such as, a plain, a tenon saw, saw, files, set square, mallet, chisels and a tape measure. Request: Compost (for herbs, berries & veg.) (Bellevue EH7) Expired Hello, I have just started to tend to a garden and am hoping to find some compost for a raised bed growing food (mainly - vegetables, berries and herbs). The bed is 8 inches deep and about the size of a double mattress. It is semi-filled with twigs and branches and I think it will require about 15-20 small garden sacks to complete. Here is a rather big 'ask'. I only have access to a bicycle for transport and if it's more than a rucksack full, I would need the majority of the compost delivered. I am most happy to load/unload everything myself and have loading bay parking in front of the stairwell door in N.E./Central Edinburgh. Many thanks for any compost that you may be able to offer.

Request: Li-On 18650 Batteries (Part Used). (Bellevue EH7) Expired Hello, I'm hoping to find a few 18650 (High Drain) LI-on batteries. They are the most common Li-On cell found in all kinds of larger batteries, like e-bikes and also used in old vaping devices. They can be dangerous if over or under charged so I am looking for some that still have a little charge in them. My old stock of them are now unusable.
