Free: Old trampoline netting (Portslade BN41) Old trampoline netting. It has one large rip in it and a zip but the zip is intact. So if you wanted it for a trampoline you’d have to find a way of repairing the rip. Otherwise it could be very useful for all sorts of gardening or craft projects. This pic shows it laid out flat folded in half and laid out like this it measures 9ft x 5ft. So I guess if you cut it to make one long length it would be 18ft long. Free: Polo shirts 4-5y (Portslade BN41) 4 x white polo shirts in fair condition. Two of them have noticeable paint stains therefore not sellable - but I don’t think it’s really a problem; my daughter would still be wearing them if she hadn’t outgrown. Free: Pillows (Portslade BN41) Gifted 4 x pillows in fair-good condition. Could probably do with a wash, as they’ve been stored, and a few have small marks on them. Free: Lampshade (Portslade BN41) Gifted Lovely funky lampshade from B&Q. From the outside it looks plain, but when you turn the light on, the pattern shines out and creates a very attractive visual effect. In good overall condition apart from one small dink in the inner lining, about the size of a penny, which doesn’t affect use (is not a complete hole). Collect north Portslade near Foredown Tower. Free: Play cardboard car (Portslade BN41) My husband made this play car for my daughter and it’s so cute it’s a shame to throw it away now that she’s lost interest in it. Another child could have lots of fun with it and you can easily add a new personalised number plate! Free: Silicone Breast pads (Portslade BN41) I’m not really sure what these are meant to be used for - whether they’re simply nipple covers, or if it’s meant to be something for stopping milk leaking out while breastfeeding? Free: Slimming World magazine (Portslade BN41) Gifted Slimming World magazine. All intact. Contains motivational articles and lots of recipes.

Free: Dining table (Portslade BN41) Oblong/oval dining table 150x90cm. Apologies for rubbish photo. Solid wood with some kind of veneer finish. Has a couple of paint splotches but easily covered with a tablecloth. 4 x corner legs already detached for ease of transportation. Also giving away 2 x dining chairs - see separate listing. Free: Pregnancy Pillow (Portslade BN41) “Dream Genie” pregnancy pillow - long sausage shaped pillow with an extra bit of pillow joined onto the end (it’s hard to describe, and the shape of it is better shown in the 2nd photo). Very good condition pillow and plain white pillowcase. It has developed a mysterious pale tea-coloured mark from being stored in the airing cupboard (??) but comes from a clean home so is definitely not any worrying/unhygienic kind of stain!! I never worked out what you were “supposed” to do with it but found useful for getting comfortable in various different positions, and also for breastfeeding. Free: Infant car seat (Portslade BN41) Promised MaxiCosi infant car seat. I haven’t got a picture of the actual item because it’s currently stored in the loft, but can provide pics if needed. It comes with the newborn insert. We bought it in 2019 and I don’t know how long the safety guarantee timeline is?? But it has never been in an accident and is clean and in excellent condition. Free: Toy vice for tool bench (Portslade BN41) Gifted Plastic child’s toy vice for a play tool bench. I recently gave away a child’s play tool bench to Emmaus and it was meant to have had this vice attachment. By the time I found the vice, the tool bench had been sold. Maybe the new owners will see this and reunite the vice with the bench?! Ha ha a girl can dream ... or maybe someone else has a similar bench and they’d like this vice to go with it? We are moving house and we also have some other good quality children’s toys we’d love to re-home, so if there’s something in particular you’re looking for, please send me a message!

Free: Offcut vinyl flooring (Portslade BN41) Gifted Square offcut of vinyl flooring, 123x104cm. Used but in excellent condition. We used this underneath our daughter’s high chair. Free: Kids Hiking boots 25 (Portslade BN41) Gifted Kids hiking boots size 25. Very sturdy and made with Gore-tex so should be waterproof. A bit tatty round the edges but in perfectly good nick and will do several more children! Collect north Portslade near Foredown Tower.

Free: Playwear 2-4y (Portslade BN41) Expired Bag of children’s playwear in assorted sizes mainly 2-3 and 3-4 but also with some 18-24 and a few larger bits. Also includes some knickers and socks and tights. This is all stuff that has been worn at nursery so is generally tatty, with either paint stains / bobbling / minor repairs have been made … not good enough for a charity shop to sell, but FAR too good to go to rags! Some stuff in here that my daughter has loved and there is plenty of life left in it all. Please feel free to either take the whole bag or come and choose what you need (as long as you leave the remainder tidy for the next person, lol) Collect north Portslade near Foredown Tower - time to be arranged when mutually convenient.

Request: fabric repairs (Portslade BN41) Received I’ve got a few items of kids clothing to give away which are in great condition apart from needing a minor repair on each item. I’m just not getting the time to be able to do these little jobs, but I refuse to give the clothes to a charity shop without mending them first as they will just put into the rag pile and these things are far too good to be rags - it’s literally just one minor repair on each item and then they are completely sellable. Can anyone help? If you have a bit of time and you are handy with a needle & thread, please could you help me? Thanks so much in advance x

Its original border has been cut off and it’s mounted onto something else, plus has one small dink in it, so needs a bit of love but would look great when mounted properly and framed. One of the straps needs repair (or you could just use as-is, or tie it onto the chair with yarn) Alternatively the fabric and foam could be separated and repurposed?
