1970's walkman type earphones. (IP4) Hello everybody, The "loud" speakers in my laptop have spoken their last! Does anybody, by any chance, have a redundant pair of those very light weight delicate earphones that came with Walkmans (Walkmen?) type tape players in the 70s/80s? The ones which had the phone bits, about an inch in diameter, hidden inside little foam muffs (which tended to disintegrate).and a flimsy sort of metal/plastic hoop bit which went over your head to hold the whole lot in place. It doesn't matter if the hoop bit is broken, or the wires missing or whatever. I am only after the actual phone bits to try to graft them into the laptop. Any chances? Many thanks, Bob

Dead microwave (IP4) Expired Hello everybody, Does anybody by any chance have a a dead small microwave cooker lurking in some corner? Condition is not important as I only want to pull it apart for bits. I live in East Ipswich. I can collect just about any time. Any chance? All the best, Bob

Distributor. (IP4) Expired Hello Everybody, Does anybody have, or know where I could get my hands on, an ignition distributor for a four cylinder engine? I want to use it on a VW aircooled engine. It has to be one which rotates clockwise, That is to say that ones for Morris Minor, Mini, Metro etc. go the wrong way! The one I want also has to have the offset dog at the bottom to fit into a correspionding slot in the hole in engine . A gear on the end wont work. Any chances? Many thanks, Bob.

Volkswagen gearbox. (IP4) Expired Hello everybody, I am in a bit of a pickle here. I am trying to rescue a scrap VW CT 1600 aircooled engine here, and I have just the engine. No gearbox and no starter motor. Yesterday I tried to swing it by hand and it kicked back so violently at me it tried to break my arm. I am now frightened of it. Does anybody out there have, or know the whereabouts of, an early 1600 T25, (or Beetle) gearbox and starter motor I could use to get this engine started, so I can really see what I have got. The camper van I am hoping to put it in is 150 miles away so I can't really use that. Here's hoping? Bob.
