Free: Large tan protective Moving Blanket (Saugus) Gifted Tan moving blanket. Measures about 15 feet long and 5 1/2 feet wide. Very clean. It's also machine washable if you wanted to clean it before or after using it. Protect your furniture, delicate items, or valuables when moving. I think there's a law that says it's no longer legal to rent a U-Lug truck and do a do-it-yourself move once you hit your 60th birthday. If not, there should be. There's really no easy way to make a tan blanket look sexy in a photo, so only one photo is posted. Additional photos would just show more of a folded tan blanket!! Free: Vintage Bissell SweepEasy sweeper (Saugus) Gifted Vintage Bissell "SweepEasy" manual floor and carpet sweeper. This is probably from the 1960's. But since it's completely human-powered (no electricity, no batteries), I'm not sure that it's much different from current versions. Very clean, fully functional, with some scuffs around the edges from previous use. Clean your carpets and hardwood floors in the middle of the night without waking anyone up. Free: 3 Vintage wood-handle Bench Brushes (Saugus) Gifted 3 vintage Bench Brushes with wood handles. These are from my dad's old workshop and are probably at least 50 years old. I thought these were a relic of the past but it looks like they're still sold at Home Depot, Lowe's, and other places. I'd love to say that there was something exceptional about these but sometimes things just are. Still great for sweeping up dust in the workshop or elsewhere. Free: Electrical Extension Cords (Saugus) Expired Clearing out stuff that belonged to my dad Two functional extension cords, one with an outlet box. There's a cord with a plug but without an outlet. There's also an extension cord that's about 30 feet long, with a detached plug. If I had to take a guess, this extension cord met its end by getting in the way of the hedge clippers. Free: Vintage Ateco cake decorating tips (Saugus) Gifted A assortment of very vintage Ateco aluminum cake decorating tips. How do I know these are vintage? They're packed in a small Stop & Shop 29 cent sherbet container. I've never seen that version of the Stop & Shop logo before, and I've been here for over 60 years. Also, when was the last time a container of sherbet cost 29 cents!! The aluminum applicator tube shown on the cover of the instruction sheet has long been lost to the ages. There are numbers and a scripted "Ateco" on each of the tips. Despite their age, these tips are clean and in great condition. Free: 4 drawer Bluestein filing cabinet (Saugus) Gifted Professional office metal filing cabinet from the Samuel Bluestein Company of Boston and Malden. 4 drawer model with two traditional file drawers (11 1/2 inch height) and two smaller half drawers (5 1/2 inch height) instead of a third file drawer. The file drawers included the metal support brackets for hanging files and a bunch of hanging file folders to give you a jump on getting stuff organized and filed away. The unit is 15 inches wide, 26 1/2 inches deep, and 40 inches tall. It's a solid and somewhat heavy item, built to last in a professional office setting. You will need a second person to help you load/unload this item. I purchased this many, many years ago from a previously famous "used office furniture" store (that I'm completely blanking on the name of) in either Allston or Brighton. When I bought this it was already a veteran of office use, with splotchy paint but great "bones". I stripped the top and sides and repainted them with a brush (I didn't want to use spray paint in a tight inside room), so there are some brush marks. Free: Unique "half" Ceramic Containers (Saugus) Expired A pair of cobalt blue ceramic containers. In the shape of a coffee cup (and saucer) that's been cut in half and given a flat back. They were designed so that they could be used on a window sill as a small planter. A traditional coffee cup would fall off (duh). There are built-in mounting holes on the back side, so they could also be attached to a wall or other flat surface. They can be used to hold or display things too, if you don't want to use it as a planter. Measures about 7 1/2 inches wide, 3 1/2 inches deep, and 3 3/4 inches tall.
