Request: Sewing machine mystery parts (Danforth and Greenwood) Restoring vintage/old machines requires an endless search for parts and salvage from all model machines that can't be repaired. Most little fiddly screws, bolts, bars, springs, gears, hooks etc. haven't been made for 50 years. They can be found and salvaged on DEAD machines and that mystery pile of pieces in junk drawers. Keep out of land fill!!! Hobby and collection obsession...NOT to sell.

In perfect condition. Good for replacement or DIY cabinet. The usual fit for standard counter/depth size. Reuse reduce repurpose.

Free: Fireproof Safe - Small Closet Size (Danforth and Greenwood) Gifted Still functional. Needs new cylinder/lock. Can still be used with small padlock. Closes firmly with latch/handle. Good enough to keep papers dry and safe.

This is how to transport a cake to an event while minimizing the possibility of disaster. Vintage condition with modest signs of use. One end of the strap needs minor repair

Free: MCM Cast Iron Enamel Sauce Pan (Danforth and Greenwood) 1970s Orange. "Cousances Made In France " #16. 6.25" across. 9.75" with handle. 3.5" high. Prerequisite chips, obvious signs of wear. Still ready for daily cooking, if you're into retro cookware...this is it. Cast iron enamel, solid sauce pan. Works on gas, induction, electric. Not suitable for the dishwasher...thats a crime. Cousances acquired by Le Cruset in 1957.

Free: Mid-century Vintage lamp (Danforth and Greenwood) Retro MCM Vintage funky as all get out. Works. Has some chips coloured in. But it will look fabulous...for free. Greenwich some rainbow haze in the glaze. No noticeable crazing. Original deco/mcm style. There is a harp and shade available.

Free: Contigo Stainless Steel Travel Mugs (Danforth and Greenwood) Gifted 4. Stainless Steel coffee/tea/etc. Mugs. Lids with locking buttons to prevent leaks. Good enough heat or cold retention. The newer Contigo mugs seem to have thinner walls. And still cost money.

Free: Makita Table Saw. AS IS (Danforth and Greenwood) Gifted Makita table saw Needs a cleanup, lube. Knock off switch works with screwdriver but it works. It has been stored outside, but covered and wrapped in plastic. Last used early summer to rough cut a lot of lumber for a shed build. AS IS. If you know your tools....an hour or two in zen mode is healthy. For parts or rehab. Youtube has the answers. Repurpose. Avoid the trip to Home Depot...

Free: CONTIGO Stainless Coffee Mugs (Danforth and Greenwood) Gifted 3 full size Contigo Stainless Steel Travel Mugs (1Child mug. TAKEN) All in good condition. Clean Stainless steel insides..lids easily cleaned and sterilized with soap, water and soaking in bleach or vinegar. Take one or all. Great at keeping liquids hot or cold. Secure lids prevent leaks or spills. Even upside down.

Free: Ruby Red Cut Clear Glasses (Danforth and Greenwood) Expired Two Ruby Red Cut to Clear Crystal glasses Highball/Old-fashioned size. 4.5" H x 3.5 rim. Approximately. Fabulous glassware but one has a small star on rim. Would make nice elegant containers for poured candles holders for Christmas present if anyone is into candle making. May or may not have vintage or high end value. Giving away as a pair. Life's too short. Not Dibbern glasses as far as I can determine. Repurpose..have fun. Color coordinate with a cactus.

Free: Light fixture - wall sconce (Danforth and Greenwood) Wall sconce - dark bronze finish. Never installed. Takes smallish square lampshade. Wiring to be done per installation. I think it is a Restoration Hardware fixture leftover from a reno.

Free: Cat tree (Danforth and Greenwood) Gifted CLEAN. In good condition, vacuumed thoroughly, sterilized. Gifted from a neighbor who's cat doesn't climb. Well, neither does my senior cat. A cat cave at the bottom, and 4 perches. 5 feet tall. Big enough to share if you have a few cats. So, if you have a cat that is still frisky...come and get it.

Request: Heat gun (Danforth and Greenwood) Expired Hoping someone has a heat gun that's been sitting all alone on a garage shelf or buried in a dusty tool box. Needed for my vintage sewing machine restoration hobby...hairdryers are not the best solution. Pickup in the Danforth and Greenwood area as I am without wheels and fighting a sprained ankle.

Free: Dru Holland Dutch Oven - damaged (Danforth and Greenwood) Gifted Pretty blue Vintage Dru Holland cast iron enamel Dutch Oven. The handle on one side broke off years ago. I cooked with it as is even though it was awkward and probably risky..but it baked like a dream. Too cool and well made to toss. Hopefully it can be repurposed as a planter, fruit bowl, kitchen towels, toilet paper rolls, etc... Large, blue, heavy.

Request: Sewing machine cams (Danforth and Greenwood) Expired CAMS. Any size, brand, model, etc. Kenmore, White, Singer, Morse, etc domestic and badged. My hobby is restoring vintage sewing machines usually in rough shape and without accessories. Cams are often tossed or unrecognized..always searching...if you have any....this is my hobby.. not..ever sold.
