Wheeled tool drawers for the Repair Cafe (Barnacle CV7)
Expired
Repair Cafe Rugby has just moved into its new home and now has a little more space to store tools. We are therefore looking for a set of wheeled tool drawers to keep some tools at the Rugby Eco Hub. (At the moment we have to carry all of our tools to each repair session.) If anyone has something suitable that we could use we would be very happy to collect it. We would be more than happy to repair an old neglected one and give it a new lease of life as that is what we are all about and that is why I'm asking here. Many thanks to anyone that is willing to offer us something. All the best, Martin Bryant Organiser Repair Cafe Rugby

Toshiba Windows 7 laptop - very old (Barnacle CV7)

See photos for the spec. All I can say is that it seems to work OK. Obviously Microsoft won't support this anymore so you'll need good anti-virus software and something like Libre Office. Comes with the power lead and a carry case. Nothing else.

1970s wooden arm chair (Barnacle CV7)
Gifted
Wooden arm chair with a spring base. There is one spring missing but the chair can still take the full weight of an adult. I would however strongly recommend replacing the springs with new ones or some other form of base. All of the wood is in good condition and the fabric is also good on the back, fair on the top of the seat and the underside of the seat which is as per the photo. Quick repair or up cycling would give you a lovely arm chair. It is far too old to have any form or fire certificate and I have no idea what the padding is made of.

Old Rucksack, well used. (Barnacle CV7)
Expired
I used this rucksack to tour Australia for 7 months in 1988/9. It's already got a free repairs and could do with one or two more. Nothing serious though. I think that it's about 180litres. 2 internal sections and 4 external pockets. This served me well and I'd like it to keep going a little longer.

Working Printer (Ink jet or laser) (Barnacle CV7)
Expired
I'm getting totally fed up with all of the new features that printers are now getting, especially as most of them don't work if you have any form of security on your home wifi. So, if anyone has a printer that works via a USB cable (I might allow basic wifi connectivity) then I'd really like to give it a try. I don't want to subscribe to any ink services, I don't want to be able to print remotely and I certainly don't want my documents going through the manufacturers servers. I just want to print documents from my laptop and phone whilst sitting next to the thing. :-) Thanks.
