Free: kneeling chair (near the Sunnyvale library) Gifted Can be useful when you have a back strain or soreness that is exacerbated by sitting in a regular chair. One wheel attachment repaired but still works fine.

Free: Zep shower cleaner (near the Sunnyvale library) Withdrawn Purchased this and followed the instructions to test -- found that it discolors my shower wall! so can't use it. Hardly worth returning at the store, can give to anyone who is local and uses this for their fixtures (but you should have tested it!).

Free: Omega HHM12 multimeter (DMM) (near the Sunnyvale library) Gifted Omega HHM12 digital multimeter; DC and AC voltage to 600 V; resistance ohms to 2 Gohms; diode test; continuity test; capacitance microF to mF; thermocouple temperature. Display has a few scrapes and scratched, but seems to work (might need a new battery soon).

Free: Adesso wireless keyboard (near the Sunnyvale library) Gifted Adesso WKB-1150CB wireless keyboard. Ergonomic design, easy on the wrists. As far as I know, it works fine, but I lost the USB dongle, so you need to have a USB dongle and pair it to the keyboard (see ).

Free: LG Ultrafine display (near the Sunnyvale library) Gifted Nominal 23.5" 3840x2160 LG Ultrafine computer display. Note that this uses the Apple style USB C/Thunderbolt connections; if you use HDMI, you'll need an adapter.

Free: Brita filtered water bottle (near the Sunnyvale library) Gifted Brita filtered water bottle (used up the filters; they are available at e.g. Target). Fill up the top with tap water, drip to the bottom thru the filter, then have nice clean water. A filter lasts around 3 months.

Free: foam core 20x30 inch (near the Sunnyvale library) Gifted Foam core, 3 white and 1 black, 20x30 inch, useful for e.g. a kid's science or art project. A few of the corners are slightly crinkled but otherwise in good shape.

Free: portable air conditioner (AC) (near the Sunnyvale library) Gifted Vissani VPFD05CLW indoor portable AC, with window interface, tubing, instructions, remote control. Good shape, worked fine the last time I needed it (a few months back in autumn). This is placed near a window using the tube to connect the AC to the window insert (so the hot air has a place to go). It provides enough air to cool a work area or small room.

Free: shelf+cabinet on casters (near the Sunnyvale library) Withdrawn Wooden shelf with a small two-level cabinet below, on casters for easy relocation. Dimensions given in the first image -- it's pretty big, so you will need a truck or big car to pick it up. Fairly good shape, though could use a bit of cleanup. Pickup probably best before the library opens, so that the parking lot is fairly empty and you can just pull up next to my car.

Free: Tech-Play vinyl record player (near the Sunnyvale library) Gifted Plays records onto e.g. USB stick. I haven't used this in quite a while (as is evidenced by the dust) but I think it still works. Comes with power supply.

Free: small indoor refridgerator (near the Sunnyvale library) Gifted Proctor Silex PSR17MBKE fridge, about 17x18x18 inches, not fancy but works fine. I used this in my office for drinks and lunch supplies. The door rack supports small drink containers, but you can not fit e.g. a large milk carton in! Support table also available, but just fits; the fridge will fall off if you push it too far.

Free: Duxtop Induction Cooktop (near the Sunnyvale library) Gifted Model BT-M20B / 9100MC. This is an electric induction cooking station. You need appropriate pots or pans (some work, some don't: if you put a pot on that will not work, the cooktop recognizes it and gives you a notice). You can set a power level or temperature; I typically used temperature settings. Slightly used; worked fine, but my family was not interested.

Free: monocular microscope (near the Sunnyvale library) Gifted Technical Instrument 607905 monocular microscope; 4x, 10x, 40x objectives and unlabeled (presumably 10x) eyepiece. Dusty but seems to be functional. Does not come with a light; you would need to add something to illuminate from on top or below, depending on what you are looking at.

Free: Spacewarp toy (near the Sunnyvale library) Gifted This is a toy for kids who like to build things. It sat on the shelf for many years and is pretty dusty, but I verified that the rotating loaders still work (although you should clean them carefully!). I will provide a new pack of 4 batteries as well. Lots of extra parts supplied for making more elaborate stuff than what is shown.

Free: The Story of Civilization books (near the Sunnyvale library) Gifted Will and Ariel Durant's The Story of Civilization, a classic history of (mostly Western) civilization, five volumes: Our Oriental Heritage, The Life of Greece, The Age of Faith, The Renaissance, and the Age of Louis XIV. Used but intact and in good condition, fine for reading.

Free: "Alfred's Group Piano" book 1 (near the Sunnyvale library) Gifted This is a 350-page binder book (presumably so it's easy to use on a music stand or piano), in good shape; book 1 of what is presumably a series. It would be useful for someone who is serious about learning to play piano.
