Request: Old Laptops (Wymondham NR18) Any old laptops wanted for reuse for community projects. Preferably as new as possible, but maybe up to 10-12 years old would be ok, depending on spec. Things need to work, so no broken screens, keyboards etc. No Chromebooks thanks though. Just give me a shout with what you’ve got and I’ll see if it can be reused. Thanks in advance.

Free: Bathroom Sink, Cabinet & Tap (Wymondham NR18) Gifted White porcelain sink with grey vanity unit (with shelf) and chrome mixer tap. Around three years old, just need a bit of a clean. Tap has flexi hoses attached. Vanity unit has soft close doors. Vanity unit dimensions: H = 780mm; D = 390mm; W = 590mm Sink dimensions: D = 400mm; W = 615mm; rim height = 15mm (All dimensions approximate)

Free: Tomtom Start 50 Satnav (Wymondham NR18) Gifted Approximately 10 years old, but still works fine. Has UK & Rep. Ireland maps installed (last updated 04/2025). Works on power cable only as battery no longer working, but that’s fine in car. Has 2.24Gb internal memory and has memory card slot if additional storage required. Comes with cover and USB power cable. Suction pad mount. Very reliable, but no longer needed. Route display very clear, simple and informative.

Free: Old Toshiba Laptop (Wymondham NR18) Gifted Unknown age, but probably 15+ years old Toshiba Satellite Pro laptop. Previously ran Windows Vista Home, but now runs Bodhi Linux (32bit edition). Ok for gentle internet browsing and use of Libre Office suite (MS Office equivalent). Performance is obviously not great, but works as Bodhi Linux is a lightweight distribution suitable for older machines. Has 3xUSB, 1xDVD player, network port, mic & headphone jacks and VGA screen port. This post was done on the machine, so it does work! Maybe suitable for parts if you don't want to use it as is. Linux doesn't generally require virus or malware checkers and there is a wealth of free apps available online (Bodhi has own app manager, but can download other stuff too).

Request: Tape deck (Wymondham NR18) Expired In need of a tape deck as I have a bunch of old tapes that I want to convert to digital, but my only tape deck no longer functions. Would prefer a hifi separates one if anybody is offloading one, but a reasonable sounding multifunction music player would be ok. Basically a quality sound is preferred, if possible. Cheers
