Request: Stuff for school (Thorton FY5) Hi how s everyone hows thinks thanks looking school are refreshing there resources in Reception/Preschool and we are kindly asking for donations of any unwanted items you might have at home. If you are having a clear-out, we would be incredibly grateful for any of the following:  Balance bikes  Small pedal bikes  Scooters  Safety helmets (in good, undamaged condition)  Waterproof suits / puddle suits  Wellies  Child-friendly gardening tools  Wicker or rattan furniture (small chairs, baskets, or chests)  Table lamps or fairy lights  Building blocks and construction toys  Jigsaws and puzzles (with all their pieces)  Baby dolls, standard dolls, and accessories (clothes, blankets, etc.)  Dolls house  Cars, trucks  Dressing-up clothes and costumes  Superhero’s /princess How to Donate: Please ensure that any donated items are clean, safe, and in good condition. Request: school (Thorton FY5) Expired Thornton Primary School are collecting. Dear Parents and Carers, In our Early Years classroom, we are continually creating opportunities for the children to explore, investigate, and use real-life objects in their play and learning. To help us enrich our environment, we would love your support in collecting some real resources from home. We are particularly looking for:  Old pots, pans, baking trays, and cake tins (metal or silicone)  Wooden or metal utensils  Small jugs, bowls, or kitchen containers  Any safe household items that could inspire imaginative play (e.g., keys, fabric pieces, baskets, old telephones)  Accessories- Hats, scarves, bags and costume jewellery  Board games, card games, or puzzles that your family no longer uses These authentic items help children to develop problem-solving skills, and engage in creative, meaningful play. In addition:  Baby dolls and accessories  Small world toys (people, animals, vehicles, etc.)  Balance bikes /helmets If you have any suitable items you’re happy to donate, please bring them directly to Hazel Class (EYFS) at pick-up or drop-off time or via the school office. We’ll make sure everything is cleaned and checked for safety before use. Thank you so much for your continued support and for helping us make our learning environment even more engaging and inspiring.
