Wedding photo album (used) (University Area RG6)
Would anyone like this old wedding photo album? Maybe for child's play or a scrapbook? It used to hold photo proofs from a wedding photographer so it's got little numbers written on every page, as shown. There's a peel back cover on each page. Seems a shame to throw it away...

Glass jars for storage (University Area RG6)
Gifted
Would anyone like some tall glass jars? There's 5 of the slimmer ones, and 4 of the wider ones (they're all the same height). They're great for storage, and seem too good for recycling! Tinned tomatoes are there for scale. For collection from near Palmer Park, just off the Wokingham Road.

Free:
Three-tier electric vegetable steamer (University Area RG6)
Gifted
Working Russell Hobbs electric vegetable steamer with three separate baskets. You can use one, two, or three baskets at a time. It has a useful timer so that it switches off and can't run dry. You just add water to the reservoir at the bottom and the element quickly heats up to create the steam heating. The element has some limescale on it but it doesn't come into contact with the food. The limescale can be removed with white vinegar in line with the instructions in the accompanying booklet (do not use any other type of limescale remover). A very healthy way to cook vegetables! Please state why you'd like it and when you can collect it in order to be considered. For collection from near Palmer Park, just off the Wokingham Road.

Toys that need fixing (University Area RG6)
Expired
I was given these two cars and a fire engine by a neighbour, along with other toys, to donate to a charity, but realise that the car wheels are missing tyres, and the ladder on the fire engine doesn't work. I'm not sure if the remote controller goes with one of the cars! Would anyone like to try and fix these problems? Seems a shame to just throw them away. For collection from near Palmer Park.

Panasonic TV - Does Not Connect to TV Signal (University Area RG6)
Gifted
Panasonic 40" LCD TV. Model no. TX-42A400B. Would anyone like this old TV? We can't get it to connect to the TV signal via the aerial socket and it keeps saying 'no signal' on the screen, but maybe it could be used to play DVDs or something? It has other inputs, so could possibly be used for gaming, DVD, satellite, cable, etc? We honestly don't know what it can do, but maybe someone who has more knowledge than us can do something with it! It has no remote control (just basic buttons down one side).

Wellies, Adult Size 7 (University Area RG6)
Expired
Pink spotty wellies, adult size 7. Hardly worn, but unfortunately, due to the way they were stored (one leg inside the other), the outer coating has worn or split in a few places on one of the boots (as seen in the photos). Maybe they would be useful down the allotment or walking in muddy terrain, when they don't have to be completely waterproof all over?

Free:
Radio/CD Player (University Area RG6)
Gifted
Would anyone like this radio and CD player to mend? Please note that it hasn't got a mains lead (but you may have one already). It hasn't been tested with batteries. The radio works, but NOT the CD function. Might be a project for someone?

Free:
Tena Pads (University Area RG6)
Gifted
Two packets of Tena pads as shown in the photo. Please note that despite being called 'Comfort Mini', they are really big - super-sized, in fact! Preference given to someone who uses them already and is aware of their size as I want them to be used, not discarded because they're the wrong size! Thanks.

Wedding invitations suitable for crafting or play (University Area RG6)
Expired
Would anyone like these old wedding invitations? Maybe for card-making, crafting, children's play, or something? There are 12 evening invitations and 11 of the long invitations. There's a blank page of paper in each one because I've torn out the facing pieces of paper which had the wedding details on them. They date back to 1999!

PAT testing (University Area RG6)
Expired
Is there a lovely electrician out there who would very kindly volunteer an hour or so of their time to do some PAT testing of donated small household items such as toasters and kettles? It's for a very small sustainability charity in Caversham, who support anyone in the Caversham and Reading communities with donated items (household items, clothing, etc). We help refugees setting up home too. Thank you so much in advance! I'm afraid we can't pay you, but we can offer tea, biscuits and our eternal gratitude! 😊
