FAULTY ** Colour Laser Printer (Queenstown, near MRT)
**** PLEASE READ THE FULL DESCRIPTION!! **** Free - ** FAULTY ** Canon ImageClass LBP7018C Colour Laser Printer This printer installs correctly and produces a test page (see photos) but the roller is dirty so the output has large patches NOTE: this printer is ** FAULTY ** is for "professional" only, that is, someone who is experienced with this kind of printer and knows what they are doing The best use for this printer is prbably to take it down to Canon Customer Care Center (near One-North MRT) and ask for it to be "repaired", then they will tell you that this is not possible because they no longer have the spare parts, but instead they will offer to recycle it for you and give you instead a substantial "trade-in" discount on a new printer. I would do this myself, except that we already have plenty of printers at home and do not need more. But I have gone down to the Canon Customer Repair Center for our other Canon printers and they have always been exceptionally helpful and efficient. **** PLEASE READ THE FULL DESCRIPTION!! **** Free - ** FAULTY ** HP Deskjet 2722e Inkjet Printer NOTE: this printer is ** FAULTY ** is for "professional" only, that is, someone who is experienced with this kind of printer and knows what they are doing I was unable to test this printer because, despite trying very hard, I was not able to get the printer drivers installed I think it is just an OS problem, rather than a problem with the printer, but there is a flashing warning light on the control panel which I do not understand Also I suspect that the cartridges are dried up, because I think I managed to get a test page to print, but no ink appeared on the paper Maybe this printer is still under warranty and can be repaired, or exchanged for a new one Anyway, I am ready to give up on this one, but if you can put it to good use (e.g. to replace broken plastic pieces of another 2722e which you have which does work) then you are welcome to try it out!
