Free: Yellow Iris (Llandrindod LD1) Probably Flag Iris. It definitely likes our damp heavy clay soil. Spreads quite readily so will probably need to be split after 3 years or so. There are 3 pots with bits in them.

Free: Perennial Plants (Llandrindod LD1) Gifted I have two Geraniums (not Pelargoniums). I don't know what the name of them is but they have pink flowers. There are also 4 pieces of Persicaria Bistorta. These have pink flower spikes. They are very vigorous and easily spread, but they put on a good display over a long period.

Free: Ceramic Knobs (Llandrindod LD1) Gifted 7 White & turquoise ceramic knobs (we used them on our wardrobe). Approx 4cm diameter. Missing 2 washers.

Free: Carpet (Llandrindod LD1) Gifted Carpet approx. 5m x 3m. Very heavy and stiff. It did not have underlay but has a sort of felt type back. Might have uses other than as a carpet in a room - possible weed mulch for veg beds or similar. It is a jade green in colour. It could be cut up to make smaller sizes.

Free: Two Pink Waterlily Plants (Llandrindod LD1) Gifted We have just split the waterlily in our pond and have one piece that is surplus to requirements. This is quite a vigorous lily and probably not suitable for a small or shallow pond. It has lovely pink flowers. The two pieces available are not potted up, so something to put them in when collecting will be necessary. Happy for them to go jointly or separately.

Free: Sofa & armchair (Llandrindod LD1) Expired Still hoping someone might like this comfortable sofa and armchair which needs some TLC (or you could get away with a Throw over the sofa. These are 30 years old so the fabric is quite worn and the piping on the sofa cushions has come off in places. Both sofa and armchair have been attacked by our various cats over the years. But it is structurally sound and feel it still has some life in it and would be a great project for an upholsterer. Both items are quite large so a van would be required to collect. It would be sad to see it end up on the tip!

Free: Freezer (Llandrindod LD1) Gifted Fridgadaire Frost Free A Rated Freezer. Quite old but still in good working condition, just surplus to requirements. Currently in the shed and has not been used for a couple of years, so there is some mould on inside of door and in drawers. I have cleaned it once but it is accumulating again! The size is: 145cm high x 57cm wide x 61cm deep.

Free: Pedal Bin (Llandrindod LD1) Expired Metal pedal bin with plastic removeable inner. Approx 2ft 6" tall. It has been sitting in the garage for several years so would need a clean. It also has some rust spots on it. Might be useful for storing stuff in - we use another one in the garage for storing bird food.

Free: Cupboard Spice Rack (Llandrindod LD1) Gifted Metal spice rack to fit on the door of a cupboard. It is 15.5" wide and 13" tall. Comes without the spices!

Request: Telephone for a landline (Llandrindod LD1) Received We are having trouble sourcing a telephone for our landline. Ours is very old and probably on its way out as it won't hold a charge. Our preference is for a wall-mounted one that you can remove the handset from. But we'll be interested in anything. Thanks.

Free: Light Fitting (Llandrindod LD1) Gifted We were sent a second one of these shades when the first one turned up with a piece missing. This one has a piece missing too (a pointy bit at the base), but it would not affect its useabililty. It might even be possible to adapt it as a lampshade for a side light instead of hanging from the ceiling. It's about 12" in diameter and 8" deep. It is made of glass and the oval jewel-like bits are amber.

Free: Television (Llandrindod LD1) Gifted LG Television, c13 years old. In good working order. Overall size 17" x 26". Screen size 13" x 22". Owner's Manual and Remote Control with it. We used it with an aerial and terrestrial channels only.

Free: Sink & Pedestal (Llandrindod LD1) Expired Olive green sink & pedestal with taps. Not a popular colour these days but in good condition and may be useful for someone.

Free: Pink Carpet (Llandrindod LD1) Gifted This pink carpet has been used in a bedroom. It's quite clean and seems good quality though probably not wool. It has a felt-like backing. The useable size is approx 3.1m x 3.1m with bits left over where it went into an alcove and bay window. The colour does seem to have faded where it has been exposed to the sun. We have hoovered it and folded it up and it is rather heavy. Might take two to carry it downstairs and out to a vehicle.

Free: Blackcurrent Bush (Llandrindod LD1) Gifted I've been nurturing this blackcurrant bush until it was of a size worth offering. It seems quite healthy but could do with planting out. Its parent plant is very prolific and gives a good crop of blackcurrants every year.

Free: Scarifier (Llandrindod LD1) Gifted Bosch electric mains scarifier. 10m cable and in good working order. Probably more suitable for a smallish garden.

Free: Garden Furniture (Llandrindod LD1) Gifted Plastic table & 4 chairs (Homebase) with Parasol. Some minor defects but perfectly useable.
