Free: Acoustic Research AR4x Speakers (Feasterville) A pair of AR4x speakers, circa 1970, in oiled walnut. They work (were in service up until a couple months ago) but tweeter adjustment pots are noisy and/or only semi-functional; if you set them to max and fiddle/wiggle a little bit, you can get them to work. I'm sure they could be cleaned and/or replaced by someone knowledgeable. Grill cloth panels need some new Velcro.

Free: The junk box (13"x10"x7") (Feasterville) Gifted You know how there's always a few parts left over from your last project, so you toss them in "the box"? Do this for many years and you end up with more than 20 pounds of unsorted hardware. I can't bear to send this to the landfill when I know that you can probably find exactly the right screw, bolt, nut, washer, or gizmo that you need in there.

Free: Black & Decker Workmate (Feasterville) Gifted I've used this for countless woodworking projects over the past 30-40 years, and now it's time to pass it on. A little dusty and sawdusty but still works perfectly. Folds to 30" x 30" x 10" for storage. Solid steel with wood worksurface.

Free: Smith Corona manual typewriter (Feasterville) Gifted Antique Smith Corona Galaxie portable manual typewriter (ca. 1964). Works perfectly; type is clean. Ribbon very light (needs re-inking or standard replacement ribbon). With hard side carrying case.

Free: Old steel-string guitar (Feasterville) Gifted No-name folk guitar purchased 60 years ago at E. J. Korvette's in northeast Philly! A little beat up - the bridge came unglued, so it's now bolted on. Over that 60 years the neck has bowed very slightly so that the strings are almost 1/4 inch above the fretboard down near the body. Thus, it's tough to play without very strong fingers. Still might be useful for learning if just played up near the head. Holds tuning well.

Free: ViewMaster reels (Feasterville) Gifted Approximately 67 Kodachrome ViewMaster reels (no ViewMaster, just the reels). Assorted topics, 7 stereo (3-D) photos on each reel. Most from the 1950's to 1960's. Should work with modern ViewMaster, but no guarantee.

So, if you have 1080 slides in need of storage, these are for you. If you're too young to know what a slide is, these are not for you :)

Free: MIDI Keyboard/Synth/Music Station (Feasterville) Gifted Yamaha PSS-480 mini-keyboard MIDI synthesizer. Tons of special features/effects, drum machine, etc. With power supply (can also be battery powered), manual, and 6 MIDI cables. Circa 1988, a little dusty from storage but still works perfectly. Great for kids.

Free: Projection Bundle (Feasterville) Gifted Kodak Model 4600 Carousel slide projector (like this one: ) and two projection screens. Projector works fine and has remote control cable, carousel for 140 slides, manual, spare bulb and lens from another discarded projector that may work in this one. Screens are 48"x48" beaded (folds up to 64"x5" with carrying handle), and 38"x38" silvered (folds up to 57"x4" with carrying handle).

Free: Dish Network DTVPal DVR (Feasterville) Gifted Took this 16-year-old OTA Antenna DVR out of service last week - it was still working fine (takes 4 or 5 minutes to boot up). Includes remote (it's a little balky and some keys need a little extra pressure, but it works; a Dish 20.1 IR remote will also work), Quick Start Guide, audio cable, and component video cable. Also outputs HDMI (no cable included.) Cardboard box not included... just for illustration purposes.

Free: Vintage TI Scientific Calculator (Feasterville) Withdrawn Original TI-83 graphing calculator from the '90s - fully functional - my kids used it for high school, then I revived it a few years ago to explore its Z80 processor's ability to compute PI. That project is documented in this article: The (huge) manual for the calculator can be found online at: I'm downsizing and need to dispose of this. It still has all four PI programs in its memory (press PRGM then select any of A, PI, or PIOL. A gives you two compiled program choices. Use QUIT to exit. Just add 4 AAA batteries and it's good to go. Data cable TI-94327 is included (but not necessary).

Free: Two Vintage 12" Oaktron Speakers (Feasterville) Gifted 8 ohms, "High Fidelity". Mounted in wooden baffles with grill cloth but grill cloths do not match and are not in the best condition. Purchased in the '60s. Just hooked them up to an amp and they still sound great.
