Free: Thick plastic sheeting - double bed mattress size (Nether Edge S7) Expired Thick plastic sheet which covered my new double bed mattress. Seems a shame to dump it. Is there someone who could put it to good use ?

Free: 2 duck feather surround John Lewis pillows (Nether Edge S7) Gifted Used, but still in very good condition. Always used with a pillow protector as well as pillowcase. Machine washable (see picture of label). Quite plump (see label for dimensions). Giving away as they’re too deep for me, and no longer using feather pillows due to allergies. Please note the nomite treatment (see last picture), which is meant to provide protection to dust mite sufferers.... As a dust mite sufferer, I’m not convinced! It could be my (quite mild) allergic reaction is due to feathers or hay fever. So can’t guarantee the allergy protection claim of these pillows. Please only reply if you’re interested in taking both. Thanks.

Free: Deep Mattress Protector for Double bed, 100% Cotton (Nether Edge S7) Gifted Used but still in excellent condition. About 2 years old ? Has become spare as I just got a free mattress protector with a new mattress. High quality (substantial), 100% cotton. Standard double bed size. Deep fitting (stretches to approx 40cm.)

Free: Large sturdy storage box with lid (Nether Edge S7) Expired This seems too good and sturdy for recycling, not typical of delivery boxes, which is why I’m putting it on here. Lid fits snugly on top of box. Approximately 106cm x 47cm x 19cm. Hope it can be put to good use by someone !

Free: 6 partially used Energizer C Batteries (Nether Edge S7) Expired partially used in my old radio / cd player, before the cd player stopped working. Not sure how much ‘juice’ is left, but do not want to waste it! (I think there could be quite a bit.)

Free: 2 / 2.5 seater sofa (Nether Edge S7) Expired Extremely well used 26 years (ish) old tomeilla ikea sofa.... Not good enough condition meet charity requirements (St Luke’s / British Heart Foundation) I think... but maybe it can be repurposed - re-upholstered, given new cushions and a new lease of life ? If not, I have to arrange for it to be collected by a waste disposal company... (Note photo is weirdly compressed - it is wider than it looks !) More like 2.5 seats than 2. Seating width: approx 130cm (at front). Sofa width approx 173cm. Depth approx 82cm. Cushions need replacing. Fabric covers in poor state (stains, worn) - need replacing. Solid frame. (I have a matching chair, which at some point in the future I will also get rid of...) Wheels on castors

Free: 3 large (old) lever arch files (Nether Edge S7) Expired They’re very old (decades), well used, bit battered (see photos), some stains (see photos), mechanisms not perfect on 2 of them. But someone who can repair / revive these might be able to make good use of them (I have no practical or craft skills…!) Going into a nearby skip if I have no takers !

Free: Maths lecture notes (degree level) (Nether Edge S7) Expired I really don’t want to put these in my paper recycling bin !! But they are going there if I have no takers soon! It feels wrong 😑 to bin these, when the cost of a university education has become prohibitive to so many. Those are the people I would like to support in this offer… I would like to support those who cannot afford a university education but have a passion / talent / hunger for maths, and deserve the opportunity to learn even if it is with the extra hard work of self learning…. Some examples of the material is in the pictures. I’d particularly like to support those from minoritized communities, asylum seekers or refugees. They’re over 30 years old, and not a complete set of notes - just what I’ve been unable to let go, but still a sizeable box full. A lot looks really beautiful IMO 😊, as well as the whole general beauty and artistry of maths present in the notes. See pictures . Any advice on where else to redirect them is welcome 🙏🏾!

Free: Miniature music study scores (Nether Edge S7) Gifted From A level and University courses (I think) many decades ago… Lots of notes / analysis in these, all in pencil. Struggling music students or wannabe students who might struggle to afford these particularly welcome.

Free: Hindi Books - batch (Nether Edge S7) Expired A number of Hindi books - giving away as a group, not separating. Includes (I think) some fiction, poetry, some Hindu myths / teaching, one notebook, magazine. Bit fusty / damp smelling, quite old. Variable condition. But all readable. NB I may have more to give away after this first batch.

Free: Jewellery box (Nether Edge S7) Gifted Jewellery box. 26cm x 18cm x 9cm Hinges broken - replace or repair (see picture), although it still closes without hinges, so can still be used without repair.

Free: Home shredder, good working condition. (Nether Edge S7) Gifted 9 years old, still in good working order, just upgrading to higher capacity shredder as I have mountains to get through! Easily shreds 3 or 4 sheets a time, can do 5, would not advise more. Oil blades occasionally with shredder oil to ensure smooth running, and run the shredder in reverse and forward a few times before starting up again.
