Free: Windows 11 Computer i5 (Walton on the Hill L4) Gifted Windows 11 500GB hard drive 6GB memory i5-4590 CPU This is a Lenovo computer put into a larger case. It should be ok for most tasks, even some light gaming. It could be improved for gaming by adding a graphics card. The case has a perspex side panel with a crack or two. You will need an adapter to connect to WiFi. It only has a VGA connection for a monitor, if you need a HDMI or DVI connection let me know and I'll see if I can find these parts (can't promise) I expect a few requests for this item, so please let me know why you should be selected. A basic computer good enough for browsing the internet and office tasks. Not ideal for anyone wanting to multitask. The windows system does a few checks at startup so this is a bit slow for a couple of minutes but after that is ok. There is no back plate on the motherboard so keep away from little hands or paws. Windows will shutdown but the PC doesn't switch off automatically. You just have to hold the power switch in until it goes off, or you can switch it off at the plug. One of the memory slots is faulty, so only one additional memory card can be added (not necessary anyway). The pc beeps at startup but then works normally. The SD card reader has been disconnected as the slots are full of fluff. You will need an adapter to connect to WiFi. Free: HP Computer Tower Windows 10 (Walton on the Hill L4) Gifted This PC is available for anyone who needs a very basic computer for office type tasks and a bit of internet surfing. Windows 10 (not activated but will work anyway) Quad core CPU 5gb ram 80gb hard drive This PC is an ex server and is therefore quite heavy. It has a loud fan noise when it starts up, but this doesn't last very long. You have to be patient when the computer starts, windows does a few checks which takes a couple of minutes. I was gifted this pc and also some other cables etc this week. If you need a keyboard, mouse, power lead, or VGA cable I can supply these too. Thanks for looking.

I am missing the colour cartridge, and the printer doesn't print with only one cartridge in place, it doesn't even have to have any ink in it, although that would be a bonus. Free: Computer 2007 iMac Linux Mint installed (Walton on the Hill L4) Gifted Old Apple iMac converted for use with Linux Mint. This computer ceased to function with Apple software as it could no longer update. With Linux installed it now functions as a great machine for office tasks and homework etc. It has 4GB memory, 320GB hard drive, and 2.4Ghz dual core CPU. This would probably work better with an SSD installed, but I haven't tried this as these machines are tricky to take apart, and trying to put them back together without getting dust on the inside of the screen is a pain ! Linux does work differently to Windows but for basic tasks and internet you should be able to find your way around if you are not familiar with the system. You will need an EU to UK mains adapter as it has an EU plug, or if you are skilled enough you can connect a UK plug. The WiFi doesn't work so you will need a WiFi adapter, or plug it in by ethernet cable. You will also need a USB mouse and keyboard, not Apple specific. Please let me know why you need it, if you are familiar with Linux, and if you have some experience with it.
