Request: Surplus art materials (Ormskirk L38) With Christmas around the corner you may be hoping for some art-related presents from Santa. And I sincerely you're on his good list and get everything you want. But then what do you do with all that old, unused art stuff, you got last year!. How about donating it to the OAK Creative group for our art bank. It will be put to very good use. It will be distributed to budding artists of all ages, who maybe can't afford to buy art materials or want to try a new technique without splashing the cash on something they may do only once.

Request: Bonsai tree (Ormskirk L39) Expired I'd been growing a miniature oak for twenty five years. Went on holiday during that recent hot spell and came home to find the tree had withered and died! Not looking for a mature specimen, just something to replace the one I've lost!

Request: Slate chippings (Ormskirk) Received Plum coloured loose slate chippings. If you have any spare, I could certainly make use of them. Over the years the slate chippings I've had have got bare in patches. I don't know what's happened to them as there is a membrane below them. I don't think the birds are eating them or worms are taking them down. It could be someone is coming into the garden and taking a pocketful over night, but it seems unlikely.
