Free: Bucket and spade (Bolton le Sands LA5) Can't do without these at this time of year! Sturdy long handled spade, rusty on the spade part but doesn't affect use. Clean blue bucket, nice castle design with no cracks but handle has been lost after being well used. Also two small implements for the sand - all cleaned and ready to go to an appreciative new home as soon as possible though will wait for several replies to ensure they go to someone who really needs kiddy toys.

Free: garden plants (Bolton le Sands LA5) Gifted Marked as taken as I have enough collectors for the moment. Can supply photos but a number of over enthusiastic plants need new homes! Pink geranium and Japanese anemone, yellow alchemilla mollis. The geranium and alchemilla mollis form excellent ground cover - l have lots of small mollis growing in paving cracks which will soon spread or larger plants which can be divided.

Free: large circular mirror (Bolton le Sands LA5) Gifted Found in the loft of our new house during a recent clearout - a large mirror, 2' diameter, 60cm. Two screw holes which can be used to hang the mirror. The backing needs some attention round the edge but in decent condition otherwise so could still be useful to someone.

Free: Cream tiles (Bolton le Sands LA5) Expired Been doing some clearing in the loft and found a few items left behind by the previous owners which might be of interest to you resourceful DIY freeglers! Offering a few cream patterned tiles - one complete 30cm square, another almost square and 5 halves/slightly under half. Someone was wanting tiles recently for a splashback and I'm sure my collection would do that sort of job nicely.

Free: Loft boarding (Bolton le Sands LA5) Gifted Half size roughly 2' square pieces of tongue and groove loft boarding - 61cm.

Free: polystyrene boarding (Bolton le Sands LA5) Gifted More loft clearance items - I have been told that this is insulation boarding which makes sense as it has a foil covering which would tear off fairly easily if wanted. There are two 4' long narrow boards and one roughly 1.5' squarish piece of thick polystyrene which could be used for all sorts of DIY projects. Very light but sturdy.

Free: chipboard planks (Bolton le Sands LA5) Expired Further items from my recent loft clearance: 2 large chipboard planks, 45cm x 85cm approx. Left over fitted furniture I assume as there are various screw holes on one side of each plank but this sort of wood can always be turned into decent shelving or similar. One plank has a small scratch on the good side but the other plank is in perfect condition on one side.

Free: Radiator front covers (Bolton le Sands LA5) Gifted Two attractive wood front panels to make a radiator more aesthetically pleasing - or for a cupboard perhaps. The panels all separate so flexible use. Excellent condition, just not useful to us. One panel is nearly 4' or 118 cm and the other nearly 5' or 153 cm length, both 88cm high and identical in design.

Free: Wallpaper (Bolton le Sands LA5) Expired 2 walls' worth of wallpaper with a strongly patterned monstera (swiss cheese plant)-type leafy design, green and gold colours with a sheen in good light. Not to our taste, but good quality paper strips for reuse or put to a different use in crafting?

Free: Men's jumper (Bolton le Sands LA5) Expired Lovely and cosy for the winter, Men's XL Italian cream-coloured jumper, 50% wool, 50% acrylic. Can't go to charity due to a coffee or tea stain on the front which won't wash out plus there are a few pulled threads which could be darned. Still plenty of life left for sportswear or home use though so seems a shame to consign it to textile recycling just yet.

Free: Parenting booklet (Bolton le Sands LA5) Expired NHS new parents booklet with a lot of useful information. Given out free (15+ years ago now!) but might be of interest to anyone who has moved here with children so thought I'd ask before recycling.

Free: Tea caddy (Bolton le Sands LA5) Expired Nice little tin with hinged lid for tea, coffee etc. Label a bit the worse for wear but plenty of use left in the tin still.

Free: GU pots (Bolton le Sands LA5) Gifted Not necessarily exciting but very useful for desserts or general kitchen/cooking use. Have accumulated 20 or so, no lids but all well washed.

Free: Leather handbags (Bolton le Sands LA5) Gifted One white, one brown handbag. Both well used but many years of use left. The white bag has plentiful pockets and looks in very good condition. There are stains on the inner lining at the bottom and the bottom outside piping is rubbed. The brown bag looks like new and some pockets have never been used but one pocket has a tear on an inside seam. Both bags have a shoulder strap - the brown bag strap is adjustable.

Free: Wooden seed tray (Bolton le Sands LA5) Gifted Part of a gardening gift set many years ago, but never actually used for gardening so in excellent condition still. Has a plastic cover which has seen better days but can still just about be used as a lid if needed.

Free: Wedding paper (Bolton le Sands LA5) Expired Full sized sheet of wedding-themed wrapping paper. Had it for a while so a few creases but still perfectly good for wrapping a present if you have a wedding coming up - which sadly we don't.

Free: Cushion (Bolton le Sands LA5) Expired Colourful cushion but doesn't match our colour scheme now. Gone a bit lumpy from washing but the cover could be used for a new insert or might be useful for a pet. There is a fire label.

Free: Fluorescent strip light accessory (Bolton le Sands LA5) Expired New starter, required for a fluorescent strip light. One of the packet has been used but we don't have the right sort of light fitting in our new house.

Free: Football or rugby socks size 6 to 7 (Bolton le Sands LA5) Expired Dark yellow knee high sports socks with navy top. Probably size 7/41 max as they feel rather snug on my dainty size 8s. Used but good condition.
