Hoover vacuum cleaner part (Ferntree Gully) Hello, does anyone have a Hoover Regal vacuum cleaner they no longer want? I recently had to pack up my belongings in haste after a storm wrecked my house. In the big rush, the main wand (that's the metal pole that connects the various cleaning heads except the power head to the machine) got left behind and was scooped up by the demolition crew, never to be seen again. I still have the wand that connects the power head but have found that Hoover parts are no longer available in Australia. I bought a "universal" wand to replace the lost one but it does not connect firmly and keeps falling out of the socket. Happy to go anywhere in Melbourne metro area if anyone can help.

Vacuum cleaner rod (Ferntree Gully) Expired Hello, does anyone have a Hoover Regal vacuum cleaner rod they no longer want? Mine went missing during a house move. I still have the rod for the power head but what's missing is the simple rod for the ordinary head. I thought I'd found a replacement on eBay but it doesn't fit, even though it's labelled "universal".
