Free: Quince Fruit ,- for picking (Wheathampstead AL4) Promised Hi, Any makers of conserves out there. We have a large Quince tree with plenty of fruit for anyone who would care to come and pick some. If more than one replies then perhaps I might suggest a large bag full each. If one person replies, take as much as you like. My wife used to make quince jelly every year (delicious) but we have enough for some years ahead. It seems to keep for years in sealed jars. Free: Small old wooden school desk (Wheathampstead AL4) Withdrawn Hi, This old wooden desk is not in perfect condition, but still sound. From memory I think the height from floor to underside is about 56 cm. If this is important to anyone I can always re-measure if asked. On photo 2, the inside veneer inside has rippled a little through damp, easily replaced and relined. Good project for sanding and varnishing. perhaps. Note, requires some safety blocks fitting to prevent lid falling and hurting small fingers. Thanks for looking
