This is a fully functioning ceiling fan with remote control (requires 9V battery), but it no longer has the glass cover for the light. (Picture is what it looked like when not broken.)

I don't have any way to test this but it was minimally used when we got it, and has been in the 30 years (?) since then.

Xypex Concrete Sealing-mostly full (Ashdale, S. of Gerrard Library)
Gifted
Xypex Concrete Waterproofing can be applied to an interior concrete wall and it will grow crystals into the wall along any tiny moisture fissures it finds to seal it up. Note: I've had this bucket 20 years but it's still a powder inside so I think it's probably fine. (It doesn't have a best-before date anywhere on it that I can see.)

2xSpectrum Noise & Heat Insulator (Ashdale, S. of Gerrard Library)
Two full buckets of Spectrum Noise/Heat/Vibration coating (we used this to reduce rattle and noise transmission in our car, in the wheel wells to reduce the probability of chipping, rusting). The buckets are now about 11-12 years old and still seem to be soft on the inside but I have no idea if this has a limited shelf life so YMMV.

"Overspray" (epoxy floor sealer?) (Ashdale, S. of Gerrard Library)
We have two buckets of this and we think it was left behind when some guys did an epoxy layer on our basement concrete floor. We think this product's name is "Overspray" based on the italics (probably if you know what this is, you already recognize it). We've had these for about 10-15 years but they still seem to be liquid on the inside.

Portable sound dampening panels (Ashdale, S. of Gerrard Library)
Gifted
We're moving again and (while these were built for portability, disassembly and reassembly) this time I'm giving away the sound-dampening walls that we use in our music / recording room. There are now 5 panels left, sized 2' x 4' x 3.5" deep and one empty 2x4 frame. (The other 16 panels in the original ad have been picked up.) The panels contain Roxul Safe & Sound insulation wrapped in fabric. When assembled as shown, they reduce sound transmission in and out of the room, but also greatly dampen bounce inside the room, making recording quality much clearer and less "tinny". There are bolt-and-wing-nut fasteners for holding the panels together. The holes for the fasteners are on both sides of each panel and panels can be oriented either way and the holes will still line-up. You'll probably find that bolting one side only when attaching them to the wall is fine, but you'll want to do both sides when creating free-standing walls. The same holes that hold the panels together can also be used for clipping them to the wall (but you'll need to work out your own wall-fastening technique. The "feet" for making the walls free-standing have been taken by other folks (but certainly possible to create your own. I just used the same bolts for bolting small 1' planks to the bottom).

Assorted RAM modules 256MB - 2GB (Ashdale, S. of Gerrard Library)
These have been sitting on the shelf for a few years. I have no way to test if they are still working but they would have been when they were removed (or I would have just thrown them away). 2 x Hynix 2GB PC3 2 x Kingmax 1GB PC2-5300 2 x Hynix 512MB PC2 2 x Hynix 256MB PC2 1 x Micron 256MB (seemingly) (If someone is able to offer me a module for my old Brother HL-L8350 printer in exchange, that would be great. The manual says it needs 256MB DDR2 SO-DIMM, 267MHz, 144pin, but the Internet tells me PC2 and DDR2 are the same thing, but the 'notch' does not line up -- see 2nd photo.)

Dirt Devil Upright Vacuum + Wand (Ashdale, S. of Gerrard Library)
Gifted
We've wound up with two vacuums (long story) so are looking to re-home this one. This Dirt Devil MVP vacuum is about 25-30 years old and is still working perfectly and has VERY strong suction power. It has an adjustment knob to clean bare floors and various lengths of carpet. The 'wand' component can be used to clean other surfaces. It is missing some of its parts like the narrow crevice tool. One bad thing: It's intensely loud. (I wear hearing protection whenever I use it.) It comes with a bunch of vacuum bags too! (Tip: You can even re-use them if you don't mind a little mess while emptying them.)

Apple Cinema Display 20" (2007) (Ashdale, S. of Gerrard Library)
Gifted
I have a 17 year old Apple Cinema Display that is working fine but has a small cluster of white pixels in the middle of the display due to physical damage to the screen. The connector is DVI-A, but I have adapters for DVI-A to HDMI and DVI-A to (what I think is) mini-display-port that I'll give you with it.

Working Whirlpool Fridge (17 yo) (Ashdale, S. of Gerrard Library)
Expired
We're replacing our working fridge (the butter dish cover is broken but it's otherwise currently working). It's 17 years old so we're not sure how much life it really has left but might be good as a "don't rely on me" secondary "beer fridge" for someone. Adjustable glass shelves, adjustable door shelves. 18 cu.ft., 30" wide, 66" tall, 33 3/4" deep with the handle. The fridge would have to be picked up on Wednesday (June 5) shortly before the delivery time (they'll tell us the delivery window on Tuesday). If it's not picked up before delivery it will be removed/recycled by the delivery folks.

Free:
Working cooktop, broken oven (Ashdale, S. of Gerrard Library)
Expired
15 year old white Kenmore Ceran-top stove which is very clean (a few dings in the paint) and in good working condition except for the oven. Standard 30" wide, counter height, 29.5" deep with handle. CAUTION: When the oven is turned on to any temperature, it will only run at 100% power (instead turning on and off to maintain temperature). It's dangerous. Because of its age we didn't think it would be worth paying to fix but hopefully there are some appliance repair folks here who might want it / know how to safely fix it? The stove would have to be picked up on Wednesday (June 5) shortly before the delivery time (they'll tell us the delivery window on Tuesday). Must be brought down 6 stairs at front of house. If it's not picked up before delivery it will be removed/recycled by the delivery folks.

Three sheets 4'x8' plywood @ 3/8" (Ashdale, S. of Gerrard Library)
Expired
We have three sheets of 3/8" plywood that has been left outside for a few years and used many times during construction to protect ground surfaces from dump bins, delivery of aggregates, etc. They are still intact but wouldn't have the integrity of new plywood.

Firewood, Branches (Ashdale, South of Gerrard)
Gifted
We've got a bunch of wood that is *mostly* all dried out (either it's been around for years or was dead on the tree -- the thickest "logs" in the box might be a little damp since they were close the where the main branch was pruned from the trunk). The wood mostly came from a Yew, some Redbud, and the rest is a bit random. There are 3 bundles that have been cut to "fireplace" size, but it turns out that's a lot of work! :-) So there are also 2 bundles of branches cut to 3-3.5' lengths that could either be cut in half for a fireplace or used for a garden structure of some sort. Goes to yard-waste recycling on Tuesday.
